  1. I am almost 10 weeks out and have felt hunger since the morning after surgery. I personally think “head hunger” is bullsh*t. The hunger I feel is real. I am afraid it will never go away. The only time I don’t feel hungry is immediately after I eat. Such is life.
  2. Surgery is going to be the easy part. The hard part is adjusting to life with your new stomach.
  3. Same here. Was hungry the day after surgery, stomach was actually growling. I can pretty much eat anything as well. I felt the same way, like maybe my sleeve was too big.

  12. Costco or Sams should have them. But don’t get your hopes up, they are not good. I couldn’t even finish one.
  13. You will feel full when you start real food. Dense protein will make you feel full.
  14. Yeah, I am a good six inches taller than her
  15. If my stomach size is relative to my schwanns, then my stomach must be HUGE!!!!!!!
  16. I feel the same way. My wife and i were sleeved by the same surgeon and I swear my sleeve is bigger than hers. Like he didn’t make mine tight enough around the bougie when he cut it.
  17. On an unrelated note, who is that plus size model on your profile pic? Because I am in love with her.

  19. I think they just wing it. They don’t go in with any plan, they just figure it out on the fly. Ok, now that I am done being a smart ass. They measure it with a bougie. They insert it into the stomach and cut around it.
  20. I typically feel hungry every two hours dense proteins seems to help but I’m hungry every two hours
  21. I suffer from major depressive disorder and I swear it has been worse since I got sleeved. I no longer have the escape of food, the comfort of food.
