  1. Here’s my thing, I still look huge. So, I must have looked awful at my heaviest.
  2. Amen sister. I am slowly getting more motivated.
  3. I am thinking the same thing. When you need to lose 200 pounds, the first 100 might not be that noticeable. I suffer from Major Depressive Disorder and have been unable to to get motivated to do anything. With some recent medication changes and weight coming off, I am actually feeling semi motivated to go to the gym again.
  4. 80 pounds total. 15 on preop diet.
  5. Thank you, I should add I haven’t exercised at all in those 4 months. No walking or anything. I need to start walking and lifting to try to get muscle mass back.
  6. Thank you my friend. It’s just that I used to be big and strong, lots of muscle mass. Now i just feel like I am soft.
  7. Hello Peeps, Just wanted to post a status update. I am not real excited about what the camera shows. I still look and feel like a fat blob, a tub of goo if you will. Here are some pictures.
  8. Welcome. The surgery is scary, but it will actually end up being the easy part. Life after surgery is incredibly difficult. You will see once you get there.
  9. Awesome work. Let’s see some before and after pictures.
  10. Woo hoo, glad to hear it. If you have any questions feel free to ask.
  11. I wouldn’t worry about it. You are doing this for yourself, not to worry about someone else’s feelings. You have to live inside your body and not them. My psychologist always tells me, I cannot make anyone “feel” anything. People are responsible for their own feelings. If they are choosing to be insulted or offended that is on them, f**k them if they don’t understand your reasonings for choosing weight loss surgery.
  12. You look fantastic. I mean like literally hot. I love you, like for realz this time.
  13. I told my wife, if we ever called it quits there is no way in hell I would remarry. Just too much damn work.
  14. Cool. I want to see about using medicinal marijuana, but my wife wont let me.
  15. My new psychiatrist wants me to go organic. To see if it will help with my depression and anxiety. It sounds like a huge pain in my ass.
  16. What about the salmon? I actually prefer the salmon.
  17. Well, this thread has been entirely hijacked and the OP's original question has barely been answered. There was a user on here that had the balloon here in the US and paid like 8000.00 out of pocket and literally had it in for like 5 days and had to get it taken out because she felt so terrible. I am not sure what happened to her as I do not see her on here anymore. Personally I would not want the balloon until there is more research about it. I would not want the balloon or the lap band. I feel like those options are for people that cannot fully commit to WLS. I was sleeved on 08-31-17 and it has been harder that I ever imagined it would be. The mental aspect of it is much worse than I anticipated. Other addictions have resurfaced now that I cannot abuse food any more. My wife and I both had it done and our relationship has really struggled we have been on the brink of divorce. I am down 80 pounds and she is down 100. Having said all that, I do not regret getting the VSG.
  18. We really try not to, but it is hard with all the stress that life gives you. I want to get away from it, but these last few weeks we have probably had it twice a week. I only eat one mcdonalds burger instead of the 8 I used to eat before getting sleeved. Like others have said, I know they are better choices to be made but it is what it is.
  19. Hello Peeps, I just wanted to put this out there for you guys. If you havent tried the StarKist tuna creations I would suggest them. They are only about $1 a packet and they are easy to grab and go. Only about 100 calories per packet and I can eat two packets and be very full. The salmon is also really good. a little more expensive but very convenient and filling. Just a thought.
  20. Do you mean cheated on my wife? Or cheated on my diet?
  21. You had to file for an STD? I got one after a series of bad choices while drunk. Fortunately it was one of the ones you can cure. Hopefully yours isnt too bad. Just chlymidia or ghonorea and not life altering good luck.
  22. You are losing more than normal. My dietician said to plan on 1 to 2 pounds a week. You are doing much more than that. This is a marathon not a sprint. How much would you be losing without the surgery?
