  1. @@heidikat72 Good to know makes sense. I've been on the Nexplanon since a month after surgery it's normal to have crazy long periods on this birth control but I don't know if I can handle much more of it I'm already taking an extra Iron. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  2. @@OutsideMatchInside I decided to find good Protein and carbs thru a boook that my dr gave me. I found out pot roast was actually good for you (I honestly had no idea been eating chicken and turkey) so I cooked a pot roast in some Water in the crock pot. I measured out 4 oz. I had about a quarter of it left that I fed to my dogs and I made mashed cauliflower that I had maybe 3 bites of. I am so stuffed I feel like I am going to puke (I have never puked since I've had the surgery) I definitely think you are right!! Chicken and ground turkey has not been keeping me full for long but when I do eat steak I'm full for hours! I think the same is going to happen with the pot roast I am also noticing with my fitness pal I put 1,000 calories for my daily and I never hit my goal for calories! I'm starting to think a lot of it is hormonal as well. I don't know if you know anything about birth control and being sleeved but I have the Nexplanon, it's an implant that goes in the arm. I have been bleeding for 14 days and have been none stop hungry! My OBGYN said that it usually takes about a year for you to stop bleeding heavy. Safe to say I'm going to get a second opinion. I think that has something to do with it!! Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  3. @@Keri1019 very well said. I use to be a medical assistant so I definitely know the right way to talk to someone whose concerned and not. I might of attacked back but only due to being attacked first. Some people are just ignorant and only feel their ways or they are better than some. We are all the same! But on another note! Being so far away and not having much support is very stressful and difficult! I wish the best for you. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  4. @@erica_ozzy73 I'm starting to think a lot of it is all about self control. I can eat 4oz of a Protein filled meal and be stuffed then an hour later I catch myself wanting to eat more. I use to do that a lot before surgery I would eat and eat and eat and not feel completely full satisfied. I'm starting to get the same feeling. Not satisfied after an hour. Just make sure you get protein in and drink lots of Water. It was a struggle today to stop thinking about food and wanting more. I think we all struggle with that esp after surgery. Foods an addiction and knowing you have a lunch or food you left over from not being able to eat it all has a lot to do with it, atleast for me. I've found that out today. 6. @@Tufflaw thank you!! I totally forgot about tuna fish! During the soft food stage I ate SO much of it I even put it in deviled eggs! Which I forgot about too!! Thank you. I'm also going to try that chicken salad! Do u just eat it with some veggies or eat it with a fork?? Sounds so good! Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  7. @@pleezeSleeve I've been tracking everything to the last bone I'm starting to see where I've been messing up I made an appointment with my dietician for Tuesday so hopefully she can help me with something and working around my work schedule. But I am definitely getting less than 50g of carbs I would say it's around 30-35 a day which I think is still high. I just need to find certain foods that are lower in carb. I only get about 46% of Protein I also need help understanding the my fitness pal no one has explained it to me nor do I know if I have all the stuff in there right. I'm just hoping this visit Tuesday helps me Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

    I think I broke it

The only thing that helped me was dulcolax and miralax combined together with a lot of Water, and a heating pad on my lower back. It sucks. I'm 8 months out and I only go if I take dulcolax right before I go to bed. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  9. @@Torriluv87 I do the same thing to my fiancé! It's nice to have some people here that are supportive and not just jump down your throat or seem rude when you ask questions! Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

  11. @coachthex32. I didn't eat eggs on my puréed phase. I ate a lot of ricotta bake (which is actually delicious the first couple days) and fat free reformed Beans with melted cheese and a little bit on Taco Bell sauce. Yogurt and cottage cheese is good too! But didn't eat too much of the cottage cheese (small cured) cus I was so nervous to eat or drink anything. Good luck! Pinterest has some good recipes for puréed food as well! Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  12. @@Torriluv87 we all slip up it's normal. I was thinking about going back to the liquid diet for a couple days. I always try to eat my meats first but I think I'm getting confused on meats that are not the best for you. I definitely need to go back to the dietician asap and not wait any longer! I've never experienced any vomiting from eating too much as well, which is a good thing but then I think. Is it really though because I could be stretching or not getting enough food in there at all. I think all of these questions I have would be good for a dietician. I think I'm going to transfer to someone closer to me and figure it all out. Thank you for your help! Omg!! Hope you feel better asap! Make sure you do those spirometer treatments as much as possible so you don't get pneumonia and walking is the best thing ever to help with the pain. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  15. I've been on this site, just forgot my password I'm 8 months out... like I posted my surgery dated was May 2016. I posted everything accurately that I've eaten. I'm sorry you didn't catch it. I understand you are concerned and thanks for that but there is a way to discuss things in a different manner ESP with someone who is here for support and help because I'm worried myself. I know it's not easy for any of us, that's why I came here... Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
