Yes! My cheeks have been so dry. I thought it was just because of my face wash but it never did that before I had the surgery

    I had a meltdown :(

I will tell you it gets so mush easier ! I'm on day 20 and it's only gotten easier since the day I left the hospital. I try new things and I've never vomited , but I will say everyone is different ! Yes Water intake is extremely hard but just try to sip sip sip all day long. You don't want to end up in the hospital because of dehydration.. that will only make you feel worse. And that's super amazing that you've already lost 22lbs!! I've only lost 27 , although I wish for it to be more, my time will come ! I'm here if you need to talk , I love having people to talk to ! I hope you start to feel better and realize that what you did is amazing , and that it will take time !! :-) Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  6. I have a few concerns on when I'm going to be able to do anything. I know I can walk. But can't lift anything over 5 pounds. I'm in highschool and it's almost Mardi gras , and I'm in colorguard. We have long long long parades to march next month. But I'm worried that it will be just too much as soon as I'm allowed and fully recovered. Any advice or tips to let me know when you guys got fully recovered and didn't just feel tired all the time ? Thankyou !! Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  7. Thankyou so much !! Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  8. I would never put myself in danger ! It's good to know that people care , it means a lot! I haven't done anything yet to harm myself in any way! And of course I'm going to follow the doctors orders , I was just wondering what other people had to say because every doctor is different ! Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

  11. This is all really helpful !! But my surgeon said not to lift anything over five pounds. My surgery was in 12/28. And yes I've talked to my mom about everything ! And we just needed a little bit of help really seeing eye to eye on where other people were at and how they were feeling around month 2. Since that's when our parades will be. I figured already that I most likely won't be able to do the parades but that's okay everything will work out in the long run !! Thankyou so much for your help ! @LittleLizzieLillieput Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

    No weight-loss

I got mine on 12/28 and I regret knot getting my correct weight to a t but I'm pretty sure I was around 315 the day of the surgery. And today I'm 295. I was worried I was losing enough because of everyone else's post. But everyone is different. Are you drinking a lot ? Maybe it's Water weight. If you haven't try weighing yourself after you go to the bathroom in the morning. Want to chat? Are you in highschool?

I would love to talk to you! And sorry this is getting back to you a day later. But no actually there is no need to be worried about becoming anemic or anything like that. There are certain Vitamins that my doctor gave me. I'm not sure if your doctor will give them to you or if they have the same kind that my doctor gave me. I would suggest talking to them about the different kind of vitamins. But it's normal to feel tired easing for a couple of weeks after surgery because you're body is leading how to work differently and adjust t different things. It's really nothing to worry about ! And for people to give me some advice. I'm only a junior in highschool so friends around me don't really understand what I'm going through. If you just have any helpful tips or advice. Please just let me know ! Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
