  3. Today makes a week since I've had the surgery. And I don't mean to scare anyone. And everyone of course is different, but for me the pain from the surgery did not hurt. I was just a little sore from being cut. Now the worst part was the gas pains. But it was minimal. At times it would get stuck in my shoulders. Or hurt a lot. But you just have to walk walk walk ! Trust me you may think you can't walk. Or it hurts to walk. But it's only going to make it better. Also the gas x peppermint strips. That dissolve in your mouth work wonders. Heating pads Also helped me tremendously! You make think getting the surgery was a horrible decision ( I did a few time ) but it only gets easier. Trust me it's well worth pushing through the gas pains and being strong. I already lost 15 pounds since I've been home. I know you can do it! Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  4. Today makes one week that I have had the sleeve. I can tell I'm doing pretty good physically , but mentally it's super hard. I would love to just have people to talk too. And for people to give me some advice. I'm only a junior in highschool so friends around me don't really understand what I'm going through. If you just have any helpful tips or advice. Please just let me know ! Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
