  1. It's been two weeks since I got sleeved and I'm already noticing myself racking up calories throughout the day by grazing. What I'm eating is generally healthy (protein shakes, Jello, peas, cottage cheese, Tomato basil Soup, Crystal Light) - none of what I eat isn't on the avoids list for me. It just seems I feel like I snack around more than I should.

Have you all experienced this and how did you put an end to it because I know a sleeve reduces an intake... it's me who controls the frequency. Partial venting here. I know I need to change. Just looking for support! I'd like to think a few days of this hasn't undone the whole value or ambition of my procedure. Like today has been my highest day since I've had the surgery - 1028 calories (approximately from MFP). Yesterday was 967. The day before that was not so bad at 850. Tuesday was 922. The day before that was 654. So I guess I've just had a few days of higher than I'd like eating... still losing slowly! Just worried my old habits will come back!

    Honest constructive criticism welcome!

  2. Majority of rollercoasters, tight fits in airplane seats - had to use an extender one time - I was embarrassed, getting yelled a really mean thing while minding my own business on the street by these two a*****e frat guys, sick of not having more affordable clothing options, wanting to fit better in my moms small compact car, wanting to skydive but being over the weight limit, wanting to ride a hot air balloon but probably over the weight limit (not sure), wanting to feel healthier, beter about myself, etc.

Reasons go on and on, one day I just said I'm ready. Contemplated wls for several years, went through the six month process once about three or four years ago and the doctors office I was going through flaked out on me but not the second time around this laster year! So glad I've had it done and have not regrets to date.

  3. Wow. So shallow. Sorry you've experienced this.

Also I've noticed friendships fall apart when one has to be sober. Bonds get built over drinking and if that's out of the mix it just contributes even more on top of a shaky foundation if there ever even was a solid friendship. But on the other hand if it's genuine then you don't need to both be overweight or drinking either.

You go glen coco! You help yourself though and if that's a problem for her tell her to kiss your healthier butt!

  4. Mushy peas and carrots is agreeable for me during the puree phase. It seems to be holding up in my stomach alright.

I've hurled previously mistakingly jumping the gun with a small bowl of pho (noodles, broth, soft tofu), those noodles went in and came running out of my system just the way they came. I'm happy to stick to purees if it means not hurting myself! Same thing happened with 2 oz of tuna salad that I think I ate a little too fast... I felt like bulimic person. Gross stuff.

So yeah back to just mushy peas and carrots, peas and cottage cheese (not sorry if that's a weird combo, savory to me), and Protein shakes, Jello, broth, yogurt, popsicles, propel, crystal light. All stuff in my kitchen.

  5. Have you tried Crystal Light? I actually bought little boxes in every flavor but have yet to open one. I imagine it's like a melted popsicle/ sugar free kool aid.

Also are you taking your antacid? I take omeprazole which is a proton pump inhibitor that eliminates some of the acids which allegedly may cause some feelings of hunger.

  6. I don't think it will do you stomach harm but I'm not a doctor and I know a lot of people here including myself don't want to be seen as enablers! You are barely four days post op and your stomach is still healing. If its sugar free, its basically like a popsicle. You could be asking about eating something worse for you. It's better than the shrimp person at 23 days. or bacon at 2 or whatever else has been seen on here. Ice cream goes in like a liquid melting in your stomach so yeah it's up to you. Your tummy!

Myself, I'm a tad hungry right now so I'm opting for a good old fashioned sugar free Jello.< /p>
