Yes Tracey. I even sleep with it. It just feels good to have something warm since I'm sleeping in the recliner:) It doesn't hurt if I don't move though.

Oh wow! You have PTC too? I'm sorry. I was diagnosed almost 3 yrs ago. I have always had headaches and one came one day and progressivly got worse. I thought I had a headache and a crick in my neck. I woke one morning in extreme pain and unable to move my head at all. I don't remember my opening pressure but it was a weeks hospital stay w/ 3 in ICU. No shunt for me. I'm too scared I think. I've seen a few nueros and 2 of them feel they are more trouble than they're worth w/ post placement issues. Have you had any trouble? My current nuero wants me to but I continue to to pass and do the lumbar punctures which I despise and Diamox. My PCP thinks my symptoms will subside once I lose the weight. But no, my pain has been terrible with PTC.

Tiffy, I just requested you on FB:) I have been worried that this is something else also, but scared to wonder at the same time. We have a Paul Bunyon bed I couldn't get into if I wanted so I spend most of my time in the recliner. It still takes my breath to get up or down. I wondered initally if I had an incisional hernia. My 14 yr old has helped me sooo much with all my mommy jobs. Thank God for her! She'll be super excited to see me feeling better soon:) I don't want to be a complainer, but this is very frustrating and disheartning ya know?

As a result of a condition I have (psuedo tumor cerebri) I have taken lots of hyrdrocodone (loratab) to control my pain since I was diagnosed. As a result, I think I have developed a tolerancy to it, so when I was prescribed that for this surgery, my body just laughed at it I think. Therefor, my doc prescribed the oxycodone which I am taking now to manage the pain. I continue to experience stinging/burning pain near an incision. I think it is a muscle that is trying to heal, but not certain. I CANNOT and donnot dare bend over, but I have progressed to not having to hold my stomach when I walk. I can point to the pain spot. If that spot would heal, I'd be great! Tiffy, I was wondering how long the average persons heal time was. I know everyone heals differently and it takes some time to heal completly, but to be able to heal to a comfort spot would be nice. I have my 2 week follow up this Tuesday. I'm anxious to see what he has to say.

wow! I'm having 68 Carbs. The SF pudding is the worst at 15 carbs. I used to buy the Stylone Protein pudding which was yummy, but the don't make it anymore:( Morning: 21 carbs lunch: 13 carbs Snack: 13 carbs Dinner: 21 carbs

Loser, You are so right! I once lost 100 lbs- down to 160lbs eating low carb! But how do I do that with full liquids? soups are loaded for the most part. Do you blend chicken in a blender or something? Please lend me your brain lol.

Hang in there Pumpkin and know that you aren't alone. While reading your post I feel.. "oh, me too". I was sleeved 2/4. I have an 8 mth old, a 6 yr old and a 14 yr old, all that are more than ready for me to be better. I, like you only saw the good comments about the sleeve and I could swear I never say a negative issue until AFTER my surgery in which now is all I see it seem. That goes to show we only see what we want to see. I blame myself for needing such a surgery to correct the damage I did to myself unnessasarrily. Its frustrating for me because I can't walk upright w/o holding on to my tummy b/c of the pain and I sem to easily take in 1000 calories a day when others are only able to do about 500 or so, I'm like... did I pay for this crap for nothing? I'm paying financially, emotionally and physically! And that makes me a little angry. Tonight was our family movie night. We ordered pizza. I felt so left out for some reason. Mad at myself because I feel if I had an ounce of self control, I could have just excercised portion control instead of such a permenant surgery... I could've just had my dang jaws wired shut. lol.... I do think however, we are way too early out to be making any kind of conclusions about our decision. Good, bad or otherwise. I think it will take some time for us to catch up to our new tummies MENTALLY and PHYSICALLY. I am also hopeful also that soon, we will heal and love our sleeve. I have a mental picture of us nibbling on dinner and being satisfied with small portions and living the sweet life of little skinny bi*ches lololol:))) Please reach out to me anytime you need to. I'm 8 days post op and still walking around VERY slowly and holding my tummy. Still having tugging/burning pain from insisions BUT.. I'm feeling better everyday. I'm just tired of being limited on my movement and loca from percocet. I work from home and my office is upstairs which is a no go. Never thought I'd miss my office lol. Anywhoser, just wondering your experiece. Also, since I'm on the rattle- pain meds make me talk/type more lol... I don't know why but I'm scared or paranoid that I'll fail yet again at this WL attempt. I'm scared of accidently stretching my pouch, scared my stomachs not small enough to ensure my success. Scared 900 calories will sabotage my efforts. I think I need some dang therapy! hahaha... Can I just say that I love this forum and everyone here?? What would I do without yall? I haven't a clue!:001_rolleyes:

1: I'm 7 days post op and no BM. Should I be concerned? 2: What "Labs" should I have me regular doc run? 3: I cannot seems to drink more than 16oz of Water a day- I'll start using a timer:) Thanks AS ALWAYS!

I have suffered terribly with gas from the CO2. I've only been sipping water and even the smallest sip hurts going down. Is this normal?

I'm feeling better with every day that passes. Still saying no to the cigs too!! I'm too much of a scaredy cat to smoke. Today was better than yesterday and tomorrow will be even better. I guess I just forgot this is major surgery!! I just love yall! Don't know what I would do without all yall.

Too wierd! I usually NEVER have a period- side effect from the depo vera I guess. I'm 1 week post op and got a visit today:(

Is Reglan bad? I saw where someone said it wasn't worth the risk?? I'm taking it 4x daily. Any thoughts?

I just hooked up to the heating pad. Hoping for relief. I know I haven't lifted anything heavy. When I first got home from the hospital I bent over to pick up my hubbys shoes & other stuff. But I didn't notice any instant pain Oh I hope it goes away soon. This is depressing.

I'm so glad!! I'm just a day before you. I couldn't imagine swallowing even half a pill. I use a pill crusher and thank goodness for it:) Welcome to loserville...

I'm 4 days post op . There is one incision site that is giving me TERRIBLE pain. If I give any gravity to it at all, it hurts, burns, and feels like its ripping open. I just noticed that it isnt an actual incision spot, but right next to one. Has anyone experienced this before???:biggrin2:
