  5. Thank you so much! It sounds like you've been through A lot. But it also sounds like you're getting through it! I know everyone is different with how they handle what. But it's scary to know that all of your eating is going to change in one go. Especially for people who are addicted to food, like I am. I am much heavier than you and have a long way to go. But I'm proud of how far you have come! I was going to ask about periods after because I also have horrible period pains. Ibuprofen is usually the only thing that helps me. And I have to take a lot of it. But I know after u have surgery you're not allowed to take any pain relievers. And I know I'm going to be in misery! Honestly sometimes I wish I could just wake up and be normal lol! Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  6. I have 2 months left of seeing my primary doctor before it can be sent for insurance approval. So I'm still a good bit out :/ Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

  9. Hey Everyone! I'm Still going through the stages of being able to get WLS. I have about 2 more monthly visits with my primary doctor to be able to get the ball moving. The waiting is killing meeee. I'm so ready to get started on the losers bench and change my life for good! I'm def. looking for a buddy to talk to tho. I don't know anyone who has had/is having wls. It's really hard to go through such big life changes and have no one to talk to about it that actually understands!! Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

    Ky locations

Hey! I would recommend going to bluegrass Bariatrics in Lexington. It's where I'm currently going and they are fantastic! Medicaid will cover it completely, at least mine does. But you will however still have to go to your family doctor. My insurance requires 6 months(non consecutive within the last 18 months) of you visiting with your family dr. And being on a "diet plan". Every insurance is different but that's how mine works. I did a lot of research about where to go in KY. They are a few other places you can go too but I honestly didn't hear good things about them :/ idk how close you are to lex. But I def. recommend it! Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  12. I worry about having to go through the same thing! I have pcos and it's so extremely hard for me to loose weight. I haven't had the surgery yet, I'm still going through the process which is driving me crazy waiting. But I'm so scared where I have pcos it's just going to be even harder too loose weight even with the sleeve! However, 39 Pounds is amazing! You should be proud of that number!
