    And after the bypass?

The people you've heard about and have met regained weight because they chose to eat poorly. They chose to eat the foods and the amounts of food that cause weight-gain. It is possible to gain weight after any of the surgery options. Maintaining weight loss requires changed eating habits forever. There is no magic about it. Reading here I understood that I was wrong about the bypass, I was making a confusion with the balloon Since the balloon must be removed people after start eating because they keep their nutrition issues hidden and after the removal everything was back Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

    The difference a year makes...

Well there is nothing to remove because with the bypass they reduce your stomach by 80-90% and that is permanent. I would say I ate between 500-700 calories a day for the first 6 months. Currently I'm eating around 1200 calories a day. I don't worry about my stomach stretching because I don't eat too much food at any one time, probably no more than 1 cup or 3-4 ounces of Protein. I've had to really retrain my brain to understand what "satisfied" is rather than full. Before surgery I would stuff myself to the point of being uncomfortable. Now I eat until satisfied then stop. It took a while to learn that! Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G920A using the BariatricPal App Ok now I understood the difference Many thanks for your help and information it was very useful Wish you all the best Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
