I have a March 2nd date

I am so excited. I have been checking the mail for two weeks with no mail for my approval date. Then I received the most wonderful call today from the surgeons office. I have a surgery date for March 2nd and I am so super uber excited!. Yay! I'm a March sleever!!!!!! Any other March Sleevers. Just remember if you change one thing you have to change everything. even if you change your weight you have to go back and change all your macros

I created my macros around my protein intake. Whenever you change the calorie intake it changes your fat carb and protein numbers. I use the calorie carb and protein macros more protein and calorie. I definitely use it to keep track of my water

I have decided to video journal my weight loss journey,in hopes of growing from it and helping others. My concern is not coming off as myself. I am also very shy and although Im normally an open book. Im kind of scared to open my book to the whole world lol. Has anyone else done video journaling. Did you keep it to yourself or did post? For those who posted,were there any things that you were afraid to post? were you scared of criticism? Please share you experience with me if you don't mind

Just think about starting your new life

I have had 2 friends that have had babies post Gastric bypass. They both struggled getting back down to a comfortable weight. One had a revision and is doing better and the other did not. From what I've seen it can be done but you have to be ultra on top of your game once the baby is born. No cheating and probably starting back at post op phase 1

Im antsy also. I don't have fidelis but I am using Medicaid. I am going to check my mailbox today(something I almost never do lol) the coordinator said that I would get an approval letter and then a phone call. My paper work was submitted on Jan 19th but I needed one more appointment and I had that on the 25th so I feel like my packet was officially submitted then. I don't now if this helps or not but we can hold virtual hands while we wait.

have you done any exercise? maybe some spurts of exercise will get you going. not necessarily a whole 30 minutes but ive seen and used some pretty good 10 min videos

The final straw so to speak was calling myself being on a diet and I would lose 5 lbs and then magically gain it back overnight. I was tired of gaining and losing the same 20 lbs over and over again. I was also tired of not eating as much as everyone else yet gaining weight. I was no longer even able to maintain so I got tired threw up my hands and aid "f" it

I have had a few follow-up appointments after my initial, however I only saw the surgeon that day and we decided what was best for me. After that I had my last visit with my PCP for surgical clearance and also to had my labs and EKG done. I had an EGD and then I saw the psychologist. My next visit is a metabolic test and then my last visit is a visit with the nutritionist. I was told after that I would have done everything to set a date but I have not been told how quick the date will be set. I hope this helps. I'm looking for the same answer on the date setting as well because im ready to be on to the next thing in my life

Hi All, I am in the pre op stages and have my nutrition visit and my metabolic test left to do ( they will both be completed by 01/18/2017). How long after I get my last clearance can I expect to have a surgery date? Im ready to get on with this already :-)
