  1. Aww thank you babe! Yes I would always see people post and I was so embarrassed. I didn't even want to open up about having surgery or going through it. I took private progress pics along the way (every month) so Thursday I may toughen up and post them lol! [emoji173]️[emoji173]️[emoji173]️[emoji173]️

  7. I can't believe it, almost a year ago I was 316 pounds. I was nervous, and eating every horrible and unhealthy meal I thought I would never be able to eat again because I knew I was about to change my life on December 14, 2016. I was sleeved on 12/14/16 and it was truly one of the best life decisions I ever made. It was not easy, from being in and out of the ER due to dehydration in my early stage.. barely being able to eat anything besides liquids/apple sauce for 2 months.. to now being able to eat honestly anything, just with portion control. I'm well known on social media, and people always ask me what do I eat, what should they eat, did I get additional surgery etc.. even on here as I try to respond to all messages I tell everyone the same thing: My journey will NOT be yours. We are all different, we are individuals and our bodies are all different. My experience was deff not easy but yes I love my results. If you are questioning getting sleeved, do your research and then say YES. I was so nervous about getting sleeved, I researched for months before I started the process. I'm so glad I turned my life around. I am literally crying as I type this because I am so happy. Food no longer controls my life, I do. The best feeling is self love and happiness... I was always confident but now I truly feel happy. 100%. And my journey is not even over yet, it just began. I will post pics because the few friends I have on here always ask lol! Love you guys. And I love all my sleevers. [emoji173]️ SW: 316 CW: 174 Height: 5'7 Measurements: 32, 27, 40. No plastic surgery has been done.

  9. Thank you so much!! Honestly I don't even stick to a day to day diet or eating plan, I just try to get in protein daily (salmon, chicken, beans, egg whites, yogurt) and I drink 3 bottles of 30.4oz core water a day. I had sleeve on 12/14/16. SW: 316 CW: 177. [emoji176][emoji176][emoji176]
  10. I'll be a year post opp in like 10 days and I still don't even think I eat 500 calories a day lol everybody is different just stay on top your protein and drink your water I feel like when I drink a lot of water I actually get an appetite. If I don't hydrate then I feel sick whenever I try to eat.
  11. You prob don't drink enough water because of the type of water. I know it may sound crazy but try CORE or gerber baby water. Im a year post opp on 12/14/17 and I just started drinking CORE water 2 weeks ago... my doctor said I'm suppose to drink atleast 60oz of water a day and for the first time EVER since surgery I am able to drink 60oz of water (2 bottles of core!!!)
  12. I also had the same problem in my early stages of surgery. Are you drinking enough water? Try to drink 20oz of water then when you can try something small like a piece of salmon and it should go/stay down
  13. Sounds great!! Did the greens make you feel sick at all? I'll be a year post op on 12/14 and I have yet to have salad or anything since surgery
  14. I have struggled with dehydration for quite some time. Try gerber baby water - $1 gallon at Walmart Try CORE water - $1.50 per bottle on sale right now at target and Whole Foods. Little sips. [emoji176]
  15. You should deff do the sleeve. It's worth it. I'm 22, almost one year out and it was the best life changing decision I ever made. [emoji176]
  16. It's head hunger and you WILL get over it it just takes time! I use to feel the same way and just crave any and everything. When you start to lose more weight your head hunger will go away
  17. I'm almost a year out and I also throw up every now and then. No worries you are still healing and you are also learning what you can and can't tolerate. Good luck with your journey [emoji176]
  18. Aw thank you baby. Deff feel free to reach out if you ever want to talk or have questions! [emoji176][emoji176]
  19. Hey guys! I was sleeved 12/14/16. I'm almost a year out and I'm down over 120 pounds. I struggled with dehydration since day one, even till this day unfortunately I would feel sick every now and then due to not drinking enough water. Believe it or not ALL WATER IS NOT THE SAME! So if you are struggling with dehydration I hope this helps.. 1-3 months I only drank gerber baby water. $1 for gallon at Walmart Currently - Poland spring, Fiji and my new favorite CORE. Core is expensive but it is worth it for those who are struggling with dehydration. Each bottle is 30oz and today I had 3 bottles... that is the first time ever since surgery I got that much liquid down in 24 hours. Good luck to everyone I hope this helped whoever needs it [emoji176]
  20. [emoji7][emoji7][emoji7][emoji7] congrats !!!! I also am worried about losing "too much" my first year. I'm almost 1 year post opp and lost over 100 already.
  21. My last meal was an Italian hot dog, fries and wings just because I knew I wouldn't be able to enjoy it again [emoji30] now I'm almost 1 year post op
  22. Thank you so far I've lost over 120 pounds.. I started 316. I'm now 189. Goal is about 160 [emoji847]
  23. Don't regret it! Take smaller sips, or suck on ice. I was sleeved in December and I had the same problem up to the point where I was in and out of the hospital frequently for dehydration. That stopped about after 7 weeks out. Now I'm almost a year and almost at my goal already. You'll get through it! No worries. Feel better.
