I take Flinstones complete. I had a revision and switched surgeons for second surgery. First surgeon had me buying 100 dollar bottles of Vitamin. I threw them up all the time. Now I take one flinstone in morning and one at night and I feel so much better and it’s lighter on my stomach. Also much cheaper.

Good to know I’m not odd. I have to walk up/down stairs to restroom. So quite a bit of walking.
    Thanks!

Hi, I had my surgery on the 5th, and returned to work on the 11th. It wasnt bad at all. Yes, I was a little tired but I was sleeping much better by then. To me, that was the deciding factor, the first few days, there was NO way I couldve gone back to work because I got very little sleep. But once the gas pains subsided, i was much much better.

I had surgery December 13 and have lost 17 pounds in 9 days. Premier Protein shakes are good and Trimino Protein Water is good for hydration. Happy holidays all.

At 3 1/2 weeks post-op, your inability to consume liquids without vomiting is definitely abnormal. You need to drive this to ground. It is a serious problem that will need to be corrected. There is an underlying problem that is causing you to vomit. That is causing the dehydration. The underlying problem could be an ulcer or an obstruction or something else. If you go to the E.R. make sure you inform them that you had sleeve surgery. Keep your surgeon's office in the loop.
Also the fact that you did 3 fleet enemas and there’s nothing is another sign that this is not a Constipation issue but something more serious..

I know! I’m just trying to keep in mind that someone was cutting us up only 2 days ago, so this really isn’t that bad! Breathing through the spasms and stuck feeling really helped me vs the tensing up. And knowing it will only last a few seconds. Hang in there.

Sleeved on 12/19 and even after 3 days of broth and Water - no weight loss. It’s like a magic trick!

The gas pain is excruciating and swallowing is really rough. But I have my sippy cup full of mint tea ready to tackle my 64 today. Kinda makes you miss the IV!

I have a great team, surgeon, and dietician that work together and they have been awesome. I was given 2 folders with all the information I needed, it's my Bible, and I go to it daily. In my opinion, I knew this was a process, and it's major surgery and a life changing decision. We cannot expect for it to be a magic wand. It took years to put on the extra pounds, I know this will take work and this surgery is just a jump start. I will take it easy on my recovery, enjoy my quiet times, reflect and plan on my next step to go back to the gym. I wish you all a speedy recovery and best of luck with your future self, which will be a much smaller version, but a much more incredible version.

Sip slowly, use a heating pad, that helped me and still use it 1 week Post op. Hope you feel better.

For me all the gas pain left once I had a bowel movement. I walked about a mile on day 4 and that got everything moving. Do what is comfortable for you and don’t over do it though. Also hot tea worked great for me also even though I had to keep reheating it lol

Hi rubyfit4life ! For anyone feeling the gases- it gets better and about day 3 (for me). Swallowing Water also got better at day 3. I was soooio thirty. When I drank even a tiny bit, it would hurt in my belly. It's gotten better. Sip sip sip or use ice chips. Ice chips are helping my get all my fluids. I'm 6 days post op. I added just a bit of sugar free Jello on day 4, and tried sugar free pudding on day 5. Today I'll try cream of wheat. I'm 17 lbs down.
What else is everyone trying at this 1 week point? Rubyfit4life what are you doing?

I was craving meat, but I'm still in my puree phase. My wife got Chipotle for dinner tonight, so I made a Chipotle puree with some success!
1 side of Chipotle grilled chicken.
    1 side of Chipotle Queso.
Blend together into puree. It basically tastes like a really good dip.
    Makes 5 servings. 82cal, 9g Protein, 1.8g carbs, 4.6g fat per serving.
