    Pre. Op liquid diet

I think like this too. I better get off my caffeine sooner than later since I haven't gotten to the liquid diet stage. Many blessings on your journey! Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

  6. There is a group called EAT MORE 2 WEIGH LESS. Check it out. There are hundreds of reviews of people who went from 1200 to 2100 calories and saw a weight loss. It takes faith, courage, and yes, a risk to the t it out. But it does work. I've done it before, but didn't make it my lifestyle, thus I gained weight. I was eating too little and gaining weight. My doc kept getting on to me about it. Anyway, I upped my calories to 2300 a day while I was lifting weights. My body was changing and losing inches (which is, in my opinion, a much better gauge than actual pounds). Currently I'm pre-op and doing the same thing. This time I'm not tracking calories but I know I'm eating as much as I need to be. I'm also lifting weights again. So, yes, it works. Have faith. 7. 1200 calorie diet isn't meant for long term, EVER! Unless you're 4'2" and 80lbs (for maintenance). Hardly think anyone here is that, or even that to goal. The nutritionist are right and the whole set point thing is right. It's where we are physically that matters. Having surgery actually starts the resetting of your metabolism, so it's correct. Eating less because you are getting smaller is correct too. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  8. Personally I do maybe 60-80. I would do more only if on weight days. I've read that the body really cannot digest more than 35 grams at a time. So, maybe 35 in the morn and 35 in the evening is probably the best bet. I'll need to find the science/study. Anything more than 35 is basically a waste. Let me find it. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App I could also be wrong too. The internet is so full of contradicting science. Good grief. Best bet, do what your doc says. I'm sticking to the minimum. It's always been just fine for me and my muscle building.

    Question for the ladies:

I'm a 40H and would love to be a D or C as well. But if they prove to still be too big for me, I'm having a reduction and lift after weight loss.

Yeah. I think it is. I going to purchase it and see about it. I guess I'll make updates on the app. We'll see how it goes. I've got maybe two to three months to get a hold of myself. The workout part is easy, it's my awful habits.

    Eating Timer

I'm forgetful and busy, so I tend to just, well, forget to eat, drink, etc. And when I do eat, I'm eating way too fast. So, I'm thinking to maybe try it out. ??? Not sure yet. Thank you for your input!

    Knee problems

I have knee pain, no surgery yet. I'm pretty sure most of my pain would alleviate with weight loss. It's been studied and found on obese participants who lose weight, for every pound of weight loss, they lost about 4 pounds of pressure off the knees. So just a small weight loss, about 10 pounds, would take about 40 pounds of pressure off. Obviously, the more we lose, the more pressure is off our knees and the pain is alleviated. Blessings on your journey!

    Liquid vitamins

Thanks for the info! I'm going to do my homework and research the patch. Sounds too good to be true, but hey, if they work, I'll gladly get these. I don't like taking so many pills.
