  1. How are you logging in to BP? I use the mobile site (not the app). At the bottom of where you’re posting there is “Click to choose files”. See pic....
  2. Very interesting. Thanks for sharing...I’ll stick to my seeds and nuts too. 😊
  3. I’ve got to try it soon. Maybe over the weekend so I can make it. Hubby may not pay much attention....lol.
  4. Hey everyone!!!! Where are ya??? Couple more days and we’ll be 5 months post op! I think I’ll will try and remember to post pics this month. Forgot to last month.
  5. Yes!! The hardest part about all of this is the behavioral change. I’ve found some habits wanting to sneak back in, why? Cause I haven’t either fully let go and change or in the process of changing my behaviors still. The sleeve helps, but only so much. I’ve still got work to do...and know it. Thanks for this great article!
  6. Just had my husband slice up a bunch of green and red bell peppers, onions, and mushrooms sautéed a little bit and throw some raspberry chipotle sauce (got free from the store-probably when I bought some meat in the past. Lol) on it over some rice. Yum! 😁 sorry no pic again!!!!

    This is a test

She cracks me up too. Lol. 😂🤣
  8. Over the years I’ve had it short here and there. I do get tired of not being able to pull it back. The fun of going short lasts for a short time. Then the pain of growing it out never seems to know it’s place. Then finally growing it out longer, I don’t do anything with it, just throw it back and gets boring too. So, nothing seems to satisfy or if I had the time to focus on myself (my hair), then I wouldn’t mind the stages of growth. I’m itching to cut it short again but hate the growing out part. Unless I just keep it short from now on ??? I’ll find a couple of pics from when it was short and post them sometime. Currently my hair is past my shoulders. But here are two pics of what I’m leaning towards. One shows in its natural super curly state, which is easy...throw in some mousse, let t dry, then scrunch. The other I can just blow dry the cut to make it more soft looking.
  9. Great news!! My hair finally seems to be stopping on the loss. I can see the difference, seems like no else can. Thankfully I have lots of hair. Been thinking about cutting it short though....not sure. I do like being able to pull it back in a ponytail or bun, but that’s getting old. If I cut it short then I’ll need to make sure I wear some kind of makeup daily, just so I look more out together. I should probably do that now. 😂
  10. I do the same. Always finding something else to save. You can even post a pic of your meals and put a comment down for other Pinterest-ers. I do that periodically.
  11. Totally forgot to post dinner. but here's one that we actually made more than once! (today will be twice). LOL Spinach orzo salad. It's pretty good. Yum! https://www.budgetbytes.com/2017/05/spinach-orzo-salad-balsamic-vinaigrette/
  12. Yum!!! I too experiment here and there. I’m so glad they turned out well! 😊

That was awesome to watch! Someone doesn’t need to take any b12 supplements!!! I love the garden....wish I could be his neighbor. Haha! @Apple1 you’ll have to move next to us as well. 😂
  14. I think you know my answer already....I love Jennifer this season!!! Lol. She’s amazing and so smart and good at coaching! Wow!!! I won’t be surprised if she wins the American show too. Miley is comical...she’s a hoot, but I don’t take her as serious, maybe she’ll prove me wrong going forward. I always like Adam and Blake. 😁
  15. Left work early today so I was able to cook dinner. Felt nice...probably cause I have this sense of pride (that I should humble myself on) that I cook better than my husband. Lol. He does well, but he used the wrong onion the other day. Lol. He says they all taste the same and I had to educate him that they’re all different. Anyway, I ended up using a different onion cause he used the one I had... i made sweet potato and black bean chili. The recipe was easy and quick, although it was good (I added to it) it wasn’t the best one I’ve had. I’ll stick to the other chili recipe I have or try another sometime. So, I used a red onion reluctantly, added more cumin and definitely added chili powder and more salt then what it called for and omitted the canola oil. Everything else was as-is. Tasted great. Here’s the recipe I kind of followed along with the pic. Enjoy!

Thank you @Apple1 for mentioning ground flax seeds. Read on how this powerful food can help keep you Healthy! https://nutritionfacts.org/topics/flax-seeds/
  17. O M G...we might as well just be twin couples. Whatever y’all do, we do. Whatever y’all like, we like. Haha! My husband and I watch it together. It’s one of our favorite shows!!! I’m just giddy inside here, I can already picture y’all watching and commentating on the performances together. Right!? Lol

Awesome! Throw in some chia seeds!
  19. With the exception of country, we are one and the same!!! LOL I listen mostly to Christian rock/pop and hip hop (especially when I workout). I love classic rock!!! I LOVE LOVE LOVE the 80's (always reminds me of our moves (military) and my dad's fitness aerobic classes that I used to go to. I have strictly 80's on Pandora Radio during my workdays. I'm convinced that I have some latin blood in me somewhere (and that the dna/blood analysis my brother got to figure out our genes is wrong..lol) because I'm also in love with salsa, bachata, samba, and merengue. I used to dance these for about three years and it'll always be a part of me. no rap or punk for me either. LOL How crazy and awesome we're so much alike...WOW!
  20. Haha!!! I forgot my headphones one day to the gym and anticipated going home instead. My husband says “they have music on at the gym” and I said “uh, no thank you. Number one, I can’t hear it (I have hearing loss in both ears) and number two, I don’t like theirs” so I went anyway and was BORED to death with my workout. I had to listen to some high school boys and their immaturity at the weights. (Rolling my eyes) never again without my music. So yesterday, my headphones weren’t working in one ear. Stopped by the dollar general store to buy some $5 ones just so I can go workout. These are not the greatest sounding headphones, lol, but at least I got my workout on without it being WORK!!!

Fun facts about chia seeds. 😊 11g of fiber for a serving (about 2Tbsp) pretty awesome I use them in my overnight oats. https://www.healthline.com/nutrition/11-proven-health-benefits-of-chia-seeds#section2

Drink Up! Water for Weight Loss

I’ve always known this about the hunger, but that percentage is outstanding!!! 1%!? Wow.
  23. Back at the gym for two days in a row after so long. It feels so good and I’m staying hopeful that nothing halts my gym going again. I’ve found that if I go right after work, I’ve got the energy for it. It also helps that I’m jamming out to some music on my thirty min drive home. That’s what gets me pumped up. I’ve noticed my arms getting flabby again...notnlifting as much hasn’t helped, but I also realized that they don’t bother me nearly as much as i was having 67 more lbs of fat on my body, so it’s all good.
  24. Today’s dinner: Kale and Sweet Potato Stew Hubby made it while I was at the gym. He said I didn’t have any curry...what!? I always have curry. I know I bought some, it’s somewhere hiding. Anyway, used seasoned salt instead. Tasted great! I still enjoyed it, but I bet it’s better with curry. 😊 Sometimes it doesn’t look as good as the recipe pic it came from, lol. Despite that, it’s still yummy.
