  1. I told my doctor that I was having surgery in Mexico it was paid for and if she wanted to stay my doctor she could do the follow-up work. It was just that simple. She agreed and has been very supportive I find it very confusing that someone would turn you away for having surgery someplace else. I mean I'm sure it happens but I just think it's terrible. Some people can't afford to go to a place in the states the surgery the difference is crazy.
  2. Happy birthday to you! Great picture!
  3. I love this idea also! My clothes are big. Size 28 mostly and some 26. Thought I would sure love to give them to somebody could use them.
  4. I am packing up for a week-long trip to Punta Cana on Saturday.
  5. I'm from Chicago, went to SIU. My favorite town!

  9. I actually went out for a big fancy dinner with my friends the first day I was allowed steak on my plan. Hahaha. I took three or four bites and had leftovers for a week.
  10. I am only two months out and have never had any of these symptoms. But I have read on another board that sometimes the weird feelings in your feet and legs is from a lack of copper or b 12, are you getting your water in? That may be why your eyes feel hot maybe they are dry. I know my eyes are really dry at night. Even though I bought a humidifier. But that is more about Chicago Winters than anything else. Good luck please please make sure you check in with your doctor.
  11. It's funny on my thread this came up right above the post about happy buttons.
  12. I had wine about 7 weeks it was fine. I doubt I will do it again. I don't think it's a good idea for me to drink. I don't need the calories and there is risk of alcoholism. Just my opinion.
  13. Yep once I told my doctor what I was doing she was very supportive and is doing all my follow-up work.
  14. 8 weeks out today and had a small glass of wine to celebrate. No issues but I don't intend to do it again any time soon. I just wanted to know how it would effect me.
  15. I think so. At 3 weeks I stopped losing weight completely I was probably about 400 calories a day. As I healed and could eat more I went up to 800 calories a day and started working out. Now eat anywhere between 800 and 1,200 and I still lose.
  16. Appreciate having this advice! Thank you!
  17. Thanks very much for this, it is much needed. I agree, it will be a great help.
