  1. I had the very same thing happen, lost 25 lbs in first two weeks. Week three I started soft foods and had no change in weight for a full week. Period started, lasted for a week and finally now at week six weight loss has started again. Just be patient...seems the two/three week stall is common and then the PMS weight adds to it.     December 13th

    I still haven't gotten over the stall! Surgery was the 13th and once I started soft foods I've hit a stall. Nurse and dietician say don't worry about it but its stressful. Another dietician says the stress will cause body to hold the weight so again don't stress. It's hard!!! What does everyone's food log look like? What are you eating?     I too have hit a wall. I had lost 23 lbs at my two week check and was cleared for soft foods last Thursday have lost nothing else, even gone up almost a pound.   5. My surgery was on the 13th...so getting close to the soft food stage. As good as anything sounds, take my word for it...just don't. Those three bites weren't worth the guilt and fear I felt after taking them. Luckily nothing bad happened but again, not worth the risk. sugar free popsicles are really good to help with the need to chew. They were allowed as part of my liquid stage. Hang in there!!!!   6. My doc said the same thing regarding size, like an M & M. I think the exact measurement was 10mm and then told me to wait 10 min between taking each of them. Went to the movie theatre with family today and didn't even care about the popcorn! Yesterday's bump in the road and the guilt I felt was enough of a lesson for me!!     My surgery went well and I have been back to work 1/2 days this week. I'm struggling getting in the Protein and fluids. And am just dying for something other than shakes, protein Water, Soup or applesauce. I have my follow-up on the 29th and can't wait for the green light to try something different!   13. I'm struggling. Four days out from surgery and NOTHING sounds even appealing. Have gotten 8 oz of Water in. Sips of tomato soup, Protein shakes and unsweetened applesauce. I've been told it has to be liquid...sipped thru a straw until 12/28. Pounds are falling off but I'm scared about too little protein and water. Would love any suggestions/recommendations.....
