I also thought so. Very few male sleevers here, I think men don't like to "share" their experience as much as women do :-) I will continue maybe later today, I have a lot to say, and as much as I read here and did my research, and having friends who did it, I did not have the full picture, not sure why. Anyways, good news is here: HW: 308 SW: 304 CW: 290 Sent from my SM-G935T using the BariatricPal App -
My story and time line - New York, NY

Pre op diet. I started my pre op diet on Saturday afternoon, I started clear liquid and remained on clear liquid until my surgery which was on Monday morning @ 8:30am. The clear liquid diet is not hard to follow, you just need to make sure that you can see through the liquid or not even so much seeing through, it should not be anything in pieces or pureed. I drank freshly squeezed juices and chicken broth until Sunday at 10PM, which was my last sip of freshly squeezed lemon into Water. My surgeon is very liberal when it comes to the pre op diet it looks, because I am reading here some people being on Clear liquids for 4 or even 6 weeks, BRUTAL! Next part surgery--- -

Please don't remove your gallbladder. I had the same symptoms. I started drinking freshly squeezed lemon juice every morning, 12 Oz. Water with one lemon squeezed, no sugar + I avoid fatty meat, like really fat meat and I didn't have an attack for over 18 months. Sent from my SM-G935T using the BariatricPal App

I was also extremely frustrated after being denied twice. For the external appeal which you do after 2 denials I hired Lindstrom Advocacy group, and my insurance approved me even before it reached a third party. They are you fight, they give up. Sent from my SM-G935T using the BariatricPal App -
I was fighting my insurance in NY for a couple months, finally got approved after hiring the Lindstrom Advocacy Group, will do my cardio appointment on the 22nd and I hope to get a surgery date afterwards. I guesstimate mid January. Sent from my SM-G935T using the BariatricPal App

I had suffered from gallstones. I drink Water with freshly squeezed lemon every morning, avoid very fatty meat and I didn't have stones for a while. Sent from my SM-G935T using the BariatricPal App -
Hi all, I was just coming here to tell you my insurance approval story. I'm currently 300 lbs. Fighting with my insurance, Fidelis for the last 6 months. Got denied twice, then I hired the Lindstrom Advocacy Group, they drafted a letter for the appeal, it didn't take too long, and my insurance company approved me before it was even reviewed by the appeal company. I must give my shout out to Kelley Brown at Lindstrom, I wouldn't be here without her dedication and expertise. I'm now at my last appointment with the cardiologist and off I am to my sleeve, am so excited. I was on the yoyo diet train all my life will finally iy"h reach my goal weight soon.
