  1. I'm 3 weeks post sleeve also! Is any one besides me not having a bowel movement everyday? I know we are not eating fiber or carbs so I wonder if it's normal not to have a BM every day?
  2. Good luck! I went through the same thing two weeks before surgery and two weeks after surgery liquids! I'm so happy I can eat purée meats and beans and cheese sticks I didn't know how good it all tasted! Hang in there you can do it! My surgery was Feb 20 th[emoji3]

  5. I had mine on the 20th of Feb I only had to take one gas x I found walking and sipping on water really helps . I would walk to my mail box about 4 times a day until I finely made to the end of my street which is about 4 houses down walking helps. I haven't had to take any pain meds sense I've been home. I don't like the liquids either since being on liquids since Feb 6 and still on liquids but I have found that sugar free popsicles and yogurt on a stick makes it so much better [emoji3]

Well I exercise every day at the YMCA from weight to water aerobics to walking and taking classes but when could never get out of the 200 lb weight mark ! Now I'm finally less then 200 and loving it can't wait to reach my goal weight of 130 lb! Good luck to you and your wife! Stay positive [emoji3]
  7. I had mine Feb 20 and when I got back to my room I started those dry vomiting I thought I was dying but they gave me two types of nausea meds and something like Nexium and that feeling soon passed! Hang in there it gets better! I still hiccup after I eat or drink [emoji484]
  8. Hi everyone I'm two weeks post surgery and I can only get a few sips of protein shake broth and Gatorade down at a time but I try to continue sipping every hour or two! I'm not rushing it at all the first couple days after surgery I dropped 20 lbs I'm now losing inches [emoji3]
  9. Hi lindsaybrumfield I live in B R and my house flooded too still waiting on repairs to be done so I ca move back home! I had my sleeve Monday morning on Feb 20/17 ! At Ochsner I hope everything goes well for you. Everyday you will feel better and stronger keep focused[emoji3]
  10. Hi everyone I had me sleeve 4 days ago at Ochsner in Louisiana. I'm only drinking small sips of ice water and eating popsicles. My Doctor told me to sip sip and walk walk, I did just make a Isopure protein drink but I only had 4 teaspoons. My not in pain but still tender. My Doctor told me not to get on the scales but to concentrate on healing. I did start back on my chewable vitamins this morning but I didn't swallow the little pieces. Everyday I'm getting stronger but I love my ice water and ice! I'm having weard dreams also it's probably from the pain medication I had in the hospital! My surgery was 2/20/17 good luck to all of you[emoji3]
  11. Hi Beth! I'm having my surgery in the morning too! I have to be at the hospital for 5:30 a m my surgery is at 7:00 am ! I'm so ready to get it over! Good luck to you and all of us that's on this journey [emoji3]
  12. Hi everyone ! My surgery is finely here! I am going to the hospital at 5:30 a m which is the 20th of February! I'm not nervous anymore just want it to be over and done with! Surgery is 3 hours long it starts at 7:00 a m ! I'm thankful I'm the first one ! Keep me in your prayers![emoji120]?

  16. Hi ashethjac3 my surgery is Monday at 7:00 am I know how you feel! It's almost like being pregnant for 9 months and when your due date comes you are all nerves! Excited to have the baby's but don't want to go through the pain of the process! Lol but we have to keep the faith and pray that everything will be fine!

  22. I like premier too I also have Isopure from GNC it taste like vanilla if you have a blender or a Ninja or something you can mix it with 12 oz of almond milk ,skim milk or what ever you like! Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

  24. When I start Monday the 6 of February I'm not cheating ! I'm too afraid lol I don't want complications ! So I'm not cheating just going to do it!
