  1. Since losing my weight all of my blood test ranges have come back into the normal range. I am completely off my blood pressure medication as well - 120/80 now. And also, no more heal spurs. One negative though - my bum has shrunk alot so there isn't much padding there anymore, so I really feel hard chairs. LOL
  2. You will have a new life, a second life! I cannot describe how much my weight loss has meant to me. I feel so much healthier and and so much more energized. Good luck.
  3. Obese people never like clothes shopping. I hated it and tried to avoid it as much as possible. I always had to by the 3xl or 4xl size clothes. Nothing looks good when you are Obese. Now that I am at goal weight, normal size clothes look great. I know I look good in new clothes. Not a painful disheartening experience anymore. Yippee!!!

    Sleeved Yesterday

Congrats for getting your life back on track. This is the start of your new life. Rejoice! It can be sore for a few weeks but that goes soon enough. When you get to your goal weight (I got to mine this week) you will feel sooooooo much better. Good luck.
  5. When a man loses a lot of weight his manly bits get bigger. For me, 1 inch easily. All that fat seems to hide the manly bits. I am loving my new look. My wife thinks she is having an affair with another man. I am definitely a lot more horny now. So it's a win for both of us.
  6. Be thankful you are not back at your original weight. The sleeve is a tool to keep you losing weight or at least managing your weight.

    Daily Sugar/Carb Intake

Carbohydrate and sugars are not our friends when it comes to weight control. There are lots of people who say the obesity epidemic we are witnessing now is due to the high sugar and carbohydrate diets that have become mainstay of western diets over the last 50 years. Have a read of "Sweet Poison". I have been on a high Protein (about 100g / day) and low sugar diet for the last 7 months. I have lost 41 kilo. Whatever sugar that is in the protein rich foods I eat that is what I consume. My Protein shakes have about 10 g of sugar, the Protein Bars have about 4 grams. Whisky has some sugar as well. I keep my calories below 1000 per day - I usually like to keep them around 800-900 per day. Ice-cream = no way, chocolates = no way, sugary drinks = no way, chips = no way.
