About Me

Was 46 years old,  5'2" weighed at my highest 265.   Tried every diet out there,  just couldn't due it on my own.  Had my consultation August 2015.  My insurance wanted 6 months of nutrition counseling before letting me have surgery.   I really didn't want to alter my body.  I did my 6 plus months of counseling, then finally got brave enough to schedule surgery.  I had the gastric sleeve done July 14, 2016.   Weighed 262 at consultation, Weighed 242 day of surgery.  I'm one week shy of hitting my one year surgery anniversary date.  I weigh 164.    Will have lost 100 lbs in a year and half.    80 lbs since surgery.

Everyday is still a struggle to eat everything in site.  Its like trying to give up cocaine.    When I get stuck or plateu, I work out harder and eat next to nothing. I'm so glad I did it.  My one friend calls me a cheater, for having surgery, it hurts a little, but shes not fat and in my shoes.  I look hot and feel great about myself.   As far as having more energy, not so much.  I still work full time and my old bones and body still hurt and get tired.   I think that comes with age and how hard you abuse your body threw the years.
