Hi, my name is Leanne. Im 27 years old. Right now I collect Social Security Disability due to other medical issues. I live with my parents, sisters, and all our furbabies. I have also psychological issues. I was told that it wouldn't stop the surgery. I will have a therapist and a psych med specialist which my weight loss team will keep up with. Im not doing this surgery to get skinny but healthy. Most people say why dont you work on one at a time. I believe my mental status and physical state go hand and hand. So why knock them out at both so I can start to live the life I deserve instead of hiding in my room gainung more weight Im hoping this site will help me with support. Im pre-op gastric sleeve. Im waiting for the packet from the Bariatric centerand my insurance needs a letter from my primary saying its necessary. Which trust me it is. The Baratric Center is is hoping to put me on the schedule this December. I couldn't be more excited. To start a whole new journey.
