  2. My surgery is tomorrow as well at 10am. What is everyone sipping on today on your clear liquid diet? I had an Isopure, chicken broth and on my 4th 16 Oz bottle of Water. Sent from my SM-N920P using the BariatricPal App
  3. Oh my oh my I think I found a way to get through this liquid diet. I had some decaf coffee (I am allowed on my diet) I hadn't finished yet so when it was time for my 3:00pm vanilla Protein shake I added some to my coffee and it was delicious! Felt like I was having one of those fancy drinks from Starbucks! This will officially become my 3:00pm treat to get me over the afternoon hump!

  6. I am right there with ya! 2 days into pre op diet and it's been hard! I have surgery on Dec 19th. Hang in there you are almost done with pre op. I get to have 1 meal and 2 shakes per day. 7. I meant to say pre-op diet sorry ladies! My diet allows me to have 2 shakes and 1 small meal so I picked up some Weight Watchers Meals and I think I goofed I just had one with Pasta and it has 38 grams of carbs. I won't be doing that again! I am ok so far day one started with a bang and my cycle to top it off. I had my shake this morning and so glad I can have decaf coffee trying to load up on my Water intake to be nice and hydrated. It's so nice that you work from home I get to every now and then so I made sure to stock up with things here at work. I have a question did you practice on eating and drinking to prepare for the surgery? I try to chew things and count to 30 but it is hard!! And as for sipping and not gulping that is even harder for me I down a 16oz bottle of water in 2 drinks (if I really want to). I have a couple of weeks to get ready so I will continue to chew chew chew and sip sip sip!! This day is half way over! Have a wonderful day ladies!

  18. I am so sorry for your experience I too have dealt with this sort of nonsense. I dated a guy for 2 years I finally called it quits his family are all petite they make fun of and discriminate so much against people who are over weight. It's always you know the fat girl the big girl etc I could just imagine what they say about me when I am not around. He recently said you are the biggest girl I have ever dated but once I got to know you I got passed you being fat. He was so against me having surgery even threaten to break up with me. Little did he know it was just a matter of time before I beat him to the punch. I am good and look forward to a stress free life without him. I know exactly where to run into them and Lord willing in a few months I will walk in to see thier jaws drop! I am not doing this for this sole purpose I have been dealing with alot of health issues in the last year. I have rheumatoid arthritis and being overweight does not help! Best of luck to you! 19. I was feeling the same way but after my consult with my dietician I feel better she recommended GENEPRO unflavored Protein powder. I found it on Amazon. I plan to use this post op it has no flavor and can be mixed with anything including Water to help get in all your protein. I am using Premier Protein shakes for pre op. Good Luck to you!
