I had sleeve with Dr. Cabrera 10/3/16 and recommend him. Great experience as well. Nursing staff, tho there was a slight language barrier, were the best.

Drink a Protein shake. You have to get more calories than 800/day. You will deprive your body.
Not good.

Weighed 350 at start, because of high bp and diabetes, my doctor put me on preop diet 2 months before he would consider doing sleeve. I wasn't given amount I had to lose. Because I wanted sleeve soo bad, I followed the plam and lost 49 lbs in 2 mths. (That's when my surgeon told me he was expecting me to lose only 25 lbs in that time.) I had surgery Oct 3, 2016. Starting weight 350, Surgery weight 301, Current weight 252. I also gained 15 lbs immediately post surgery, from immlamation, fluids and infection, I count that as weight lost so I've lost 100+ lbs.

Yeah, I was alittle leary of going in the store to get scales, but once in there, bought some Christmas presents for articulate stepson! But seriously, weighing my food has helped sooo much.

1. Rest. Body is going through some major changes and it has to adjust. Don't try to "speed up" process of weight loss at this point.
2. Don't overstock with "dated" pureed foods, ie yogurt. I threw out soo much cuz I just wasnt hungry and once I graduated to solids I needed change.
3. YOU MORE THAN LIKELY WILL HAVE SOME STALLS in the near future. Your body is teying to catch up, maybe trying to store cals, what little fat you take in ect. cuz it hasn't realized your not starving. So don't starve yourself.
I know you asked 3, but here's number 4
4. To weigh my food. When i was going thru my stall (2weeks fluctuating 3 lbs, ugh), I bought pocket scale and am faithful to weigh my food. Try it. Went to head shop and got cheap. They couldn't believe i was weighing my food. Lol.
3.

I had sleeve Oct 3 in Mexico amd stayed at Hyatt Place. Very nice. Our driver had to pick up a few patrons from Pueblo Amigo who changed there hotel to Hyatt Place because there rooms smelled of smoke and complained of noise in halls and when walking to front door, the smoke was bothersome.
I never went into Pueblo Amigo myself.
