Went for seminar in July then had my first appt in Aug where I was,told my surgery would be on Jan 30th. I had 6 months of classes and other appts as well. My last appt is this Friday the 6th for Medical Clearance. I start my liquid diet on Jan 16th. I'm excited and not nervous.

Congrats. I started my journey a day b4 you and weighing in at 250lbs . I now weigh 228 . My surgery is in 12 days and I have started my 2 week liquid diet . Good luck.

So everyone it's been a while since i have been on here since my surgery on Jan 30th. I'm doing great and so happy with my decision. The best of me is yet to come.

I am having my surgery on Jan 30th and I want to be prepared with what I will need for dry lips , dry skin and possible issues with bowel movements. I'm sure my surgeon will tell me but I would just like to see what others have used . Thank you

I like my Fitbit Aria as well. It does synch with the Fitbit app, and then I have it connect to the MyFitnessPal app as well.

I really like my Fitbit Aria. Syncs with my iPhone and Fitbit Blaze daily, gives me lbs, body fat percentage, and is very sleek and unobtrusive. I got it online from Kohls using all my various coupons and Kohls cash. IDK if it's as good as the bariatric center scales (not familiar with what they use,) but the Aria had tested as accurate according to the research and reviews I had done beforehand. HTH!

I don't own a scale and don't think I'm going to get one. I'll have plenty of opportunities to weight regularly for the time being at appointments. I would become a slave to weighing myself and I don't think that's healthy for me. I'm not trying to tell anyone else what to do just speaking for myself. I will tell you my surgeon and his staff agree with me on not having one at home at this point. I hope you find one that meets your needs. God bless you and keep you.

When your surgeon signs your Plusheez. I love it and I'm feeling great. 5 days post op and no issues so far and I have been able to use the bathroom both ways. Surgery went well. Had gas pain for about an hour on and off but pain free thereafter. Drinking liquids well and i feel very fortunate. Looking forward to the changes.

I had surgery on the 30th also and was discharged yesterday . I feel great with the exception of the soreness around the incision areas . I really did not have gas pain which I'm happy about and I ???? two times at the hospital b4 I was discharged and passing gas was not an issue as well. I feel like one of the lucky ones that I am having a smooth transition thus far . I start the post op liquid diet today and hopefully all will go well along with drinking the Protein Shakes . We got this .

I was told no pudding or Greek yogurt just yet and not even Jello. I guess each bariatric dr/ surgeon is different. I'm on a liquid diet for 4 weeks
