  1. Wish my skin could bounce back like that! Congratulations! Sent from my SM-N920V using BariatricPal mobile app
  2. It took me a while to get used to taking vitamins after surgery. I couldn't keep them diwn so I didn't try to force it. As time passed, it got easier and now they are a daily habit. I still hate them, but not because they make me feel sick. Give it some time. Sent from my SM-N920V using BariatricPal mobile app
  3. Everyone will have a different diet. Every doctor, e every surgeon, every nutritionist and every patient has different requirements and needs. I would just call and tell them what you are wanting to do. I'm sure they can give you a plan early. Sent from my SM-N920V using BariatricPal mobile app
  4. Yo, this is awesome success! Congrats!! Did you have much loose skin after surgery? Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  5. I got sleeved on the 9th. I was remarkably calm, so no cocktail. I remember joking with the nurses and hearing 'Papa was a Rolling Stone" when they rolled me into the OR. The last thing I remembered how cold it was in there as they started prepping me. Anyway, other than some nauseous the first couple days, I've been doing great! I stopped needing medication on day 5. 9. It depends on the doctor AND the patient. I'm doing just 3 Premiere Protein shakes and 3 eight ounce cups of Lactaid milk a day. And taking BariActiv. 6 days in and I'm AMAZED at the energy I have! I thought this would kill me and I'd be all lethargic and weak, but I still walk 2-3 miles and lift weights every day. I'm not saying it's easy, just not near as hard as it sounds. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

  16. I'm scheduled for the sleeve on December 9th. I'm hoping to maintain/increase a significant activity level after surgery. My goal (at least one of them) is to run - not walk - a 5K. One thing I've heard and am concerned about is only being able to SIP Water after surgery. I know I'll be tempted to guzzle, though. Any thoughts or shared experience with Strenuous activities after surgery is appreciated. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  17. Great job @@adriant! Keep it up! And thanks for the translation @@proudgrammy! Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  18. My surgeon says 2 years. I was never a big drinker anyway and I'm a light weight, so I'll probably take that advice. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
