My sleeve day was yesterday Dec 7th 2016. I feel ok. Just only chest tightness and coughing. I just got back from radiology and l passed my drinking test. Very Blessed.

Had mine yesterday 12/7 at 8am

I was up walking the afternoon- they gave me the "cocktail" to take the nerves off and I don't even remember getting wheeled back last thing I remembered as waking up and they told me it was all done- I only had three small cuts instead of five . I was on hydromorphine for the first 26 hours after I had a shot of pain meds and am due for more in two hours and no pain yet I have been walking 1500 feet at a time every hours

I was sleeved on 12-5. Discharged on 12-7. My period came today. So far, I've felt very little nausea. I can take 15 ml of liquid hydrocodone every four hours but so far today I've only taken 2.5 ml. It just makes me too sleepy. The gas pain is a little uncomfortable. Incision pain isn't too bad, it feels tight where my big incision is. I have 5 incisions, one is from a hiatal hernia repair. I just constantly sip on something. I worry about becoming dehydrated. Sip, sip, sip & walk, walk, walk. ????

I had RNY on the 5th at 7:30am. I was discharged on the 6th at 4pm. Gas pains aren't really pain more like discomfort. My indications just started hurting today. I walk a lot more then I sit just because I had so much gas in me. And I burp... a ton! Other than that I feel myself getting better. I hurt in the morning when I wake up but once I start walking I feel better. I am much better then I thought I would be!

You can totally ask for for cocktail I told them I was real nervous and they asked if I wanted something to help me relax and o said absolutely! Like I said I don't remember going back last I remember is waking up- I haven't had any gas pain any only theee incisions - I think that has helped me a lot only have three instead of five -

My doctor required three nights and four days in the hospital and I'm thankful for that you will need the break from the hustle and bustle of everyday life

I like the idea of staying in the hospital for at least three days, just to feel more comfortable in case anything. My Dr requires a night stay

Just liquid Tylenol at night. I'm mostly just being a baby because my recovery, so far, has been pretty uneventful. I was able to sleep on my side last night!!!

Yep, I'm a stomach sleeper too. Good luck with surgery on Monday! I have to say, I had a lot of fear about the procedure and first few days of recovery, but it really has been relatively easy. Exciting!
