I'm 10 days post opp and my surgeon and nut cleared me for one small can or pouch of tuna with fat free mayo and relish. It was amazing. I got tired of shakes and chicken noodle Soup too. I am also eating Dannon oikos triple zero Greek yogurt to get my daily Protein goal of 80g in. One serving of that have 15g Protein no fat or sugars. One serving of tuna have 22g with no fat and sugar. It's learning to know your limits all over again. I still lost 2 lbs overnight.

. They had me on the cpap because they said I wasn't getting enough oxygen when I was dozing off. Worst time ever. Machine would beep and I stayed awake. Even when they just put the oxygen tube in my nose, when I dozed off it started beeping too. I finally got some rest when they took all those off. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

I have always snored but I've always felt I never had sleep apnoea. I don't remember ever having any of the symptoms. After I got sleeved (December 5), a machine at the PACU kept beeping anytime I fell asleep, and they thought I had sleep apnoea. I was put on CPAP, but the machine still beeped when I tried dozing off (which was a task as the machine tried its very best to force all the air in the grand canyon up my nose) . They took off the CPAP and concluded that perhaps I had residual respiratory depression from the general anaesthesia which my post op morphine doses were worsening. Got discharged to the ward after closely monitoring for 2 hrs.

I have sleep apnea and it's not easy getting used to the mask, but if you try EVERY night to fall asleep with it on (even if it only lasts a few minutes) eventually you will get used to it. But you have to try every night. Now I can not sleep without it!!

Just got a call the other day to start my pre op diet! I'm a self pay so my first visit was October 31st. Now I'm scheduled for surgery December 14th!
