I haven't been on here lately, but I am happy to say that after a 2 week stall the scale is finally moving again and that feels good! I started working out last week and I have been getting my protein in daily as well as making sure I eat my 5 small meals a day. My water intake is still not all the way up to 64oz a day, but all things considered I am doing REALLY well. There was a 2.5 week period around week 4 post-op that I just couldn't make myself eat or drink anything and everything made me feel sick and grossed out, so after a visit to the doctor it turned out I had a severe UTI, and once I started my antibiotics the nausea went away and I was able to eat without feeling gross! So happy to say it DOES get better ya'll! You just have to hang in there and be sure to keep in touch with your doctor if you have any issues. I am almost 2 months out and I am so happy with my progress and how things have started to become my new "normal". Be blessed today!

Yes! I say my stall broke finally, but after losing 2 pounds since my last stall, im not losing again HAHA. Oh this funny thing called weight loss... it's too bad we have no control over how we lose completely huh? I really am thinking I might need to MAKE myself really up my water intake. I am averaging probably about 45oz a day. It's been hard trying to eat my 5 meals a day with spacing out the drinking between, and getting my protein in... so I have been sacrificing some on the liquid intake to make sure I get the other stuff in. I will make that my focus this next week and see if that does the trick!

Well today makes three weeks since i got sleeved. Down 34lbs total and 22lbs since surgery. The other plus and the main driver behind this surgery is my insulin use has dropped in half . Been feeling great and ready to get clearance to be at full speed again.

6 days out and I am still struggling with getting in liquids. I haven't had much of anything substantial since before my surgery on Monday, so I managed to eat 1 yogurt today and 1 sugar free Popsicle, and I have been having constant ice chips today as well as a bit of water and half a protein shake. I am hoping it continues to get better each day

First full day at home. Liquid loratab FTW!

It is so good when you get to come home! Don't forget to walk and make sure to drink all day even though you just want to sleep. I try to go to bed by 10 each night and wake up around 10 the next day so I get plenty of rest, but that way I am also up throughout the day to make sure I am trying to get liquids in.

I am about 8 weeks post op and just hit a milestone! I am now officially down 50 pounds! I struggled when I was able to go back to actual food, not to fall back into old habits, but after a 2 week stall, I am back on track and more determined than ever.
