  1. I am also losing very very slowly but I am not walking enough and I know it.
  2. I got a big jar of coconut oil and slather it on every time I pass by. Works wonders. I'm supposed to drink 96 oz of liquid a day with half containing electrolytes. Very hard

  7. You should have half of your liquids with electrolytes!!!! Important. I had two weeks of clear but included jello pop Sickles etc. this too shall pass
  8. Your surgeon should give you a list of what you need. Mine gave me the option of having my vitamins iron calcium probiotics etc shipped automatically every three months! Awesome
  9. I wish they would let me count protein shakes. Made it harder.
  10. I was told no Gatorade never bread No fruit until goal weight is reached.anything soft digests fast so you get hungry faster. Stop with the car bs and grains and go easy on nuts.

  13. I have severe sleep apnea and had to take my cpap when I had my surgery. I had surgery for another reason a year earlier and they didn't ask for a study but after my levels kept dropping in the nights they told me I should have brought it
  14. I am slow. Lost only seven pounds in first two weeks. Dr said I would lose more slowly because I have less to lose, but I am disappointed.
  15. $4,000 surgeon. Insurance paid hospital. I paid small amount for a class or two and a pellet shot, vitamins etc but most other visits monthly and classes were free.
  16. Second week post op and only lost two pounds. Is that normal?

  19. I had to lose 11 pounds before surgery so went low carb and it took three months . One week out now and no weight loss. So when should I start losing. I never cheated before surgery but had two shakes and one low carb meal which wasn't too hard
  20. Doesn't a support group come with your surgery? I had to attend the months before and two years after. It was added into the total cost along with the nutritionist physical therapist patient advocate and diet class. Support group really really helps! Find one!
  21. They gave me drops at the hospital and that stops any pain immediately
