  1. 4/19 - Had a protein shot which was 15 grams of protein for breakfast. Had 1/2 grill chicken broken up into 4 small meals, with two pieces of steamed broccoli each. Premier Protein shake for dinner. Total 65g protein, 2g sugar, 9g of carbs, 6g of fat. I also have not stepped on a scale since my 2 week post op. I am starting to worry that I am either stalling or have gained weight. I am sure that I am just overreacting, however I weigh in Friday when I see my NUT. I am hoping that I have lost weight.

Hang in there. It's their ish, not yours. In a psychology class, I learned that women are less outwardly competitive than men, so we spend a lot of time "leveling" each other to make us feel better about ourselves. Its something that I refuse to do anymore. At first when I caught myself doing it, I would have to literally stop myself and say, "You know what it's ok that she is different from me and even though it kind of makes me feel like crap, I'm going to strive to grateful for what I have and show true happiness for her." Now it comes more naturally. Your friends are obviously not there at this point. Don't let their insecurities tear you down for a minute. You are on fire.

I look for your responses. Sorry to hear that it's been frustrating. I was more than frustrated reading the back and forth convo regarding the keto diet. I'm at a loss for why people are so set on having to be "right" or proving others "wrong". Hope you change your mind.

  3. Finally! My stall has broken after 11 days with no movement on the scale.

  4. Been MIA for a few days.  My 42 year old hubby had a stroke on Saturday.  He will be ok, we have been blessed with no long term effects, just questions. Trying to take time to eat mindfully through this stressful time.

  5. Seeing the psychiatrist again tomorrow. Hopefully, he'll clear me for surgery. He's the last one I need to okay it! Cardiologist released me yesterday! Yippee!

  6. I need help what Vitiamns do I need to take? I stopped taking them and need to start up again.

  7. Start my 2 week pre-op on THursday

  8. Got Vanilla and Chocolate Premier Protien, in the tubs, at Sam's. Ready to start my pre-op next week! 23 days to surgery!

  9. NSV-Passed my Drivers License (fictitious!) weight about 25 lbs ago! Woot!

  12. Guess Babbs got banned too? That's unfortunate. Things are definitely going to be different around here.

  13. I have a Skype consult today with the Doc we found in FL!!!

  14. I am down a buck and a quarter as of this morning! That number is not round, but then again, neither am I - any more! 125 has a nice feel to it for some reason. Haha, tomorrow is my three month anniversary since surgery.

  15. For probably the first time in my adult life, not only did I not gain weight between Christmas and New Year - I actually lost 2.6lbs! While I did choose to stray from plan a bit, I didn't lose total control. Yeah sleeve!

  16. Normally I hate trying on clothes, but these 42s are falling off my ass and the belt has no more virgin holes to plug... Gotta find some jeans that fit tonight!

  17. A new pair of boots just arrived for my employee. I took them out of the box, filled the box with random trash and put my worn out slippers in. I can't wait for him to open them!

  18. Well today makes three weeks since i got sleeved. Down 34lbs total and 22lbs since surgery. The other plus and the main driver behind this surgery is my insulin use has dropped in half . Been feeling great and ready to get clearance to be at full speed again.

  19. Sometimes it's hard to not get down on myself for not losing enough weight this week, not meeting my mini-goal by the end of the year, not liking what I see in the mirror, etc... but I just have to keep reminding myself that I've lost over 130 pounds... and that's a significant achievement!

  20. Having lunch today with two guys I used to work with and haven't seen since March so pre-surgery and about 120lbs ago. Should be interesting to see if they notice a difference. One knows about the surgery and has seen a relatively recent pic (from vacation in October). And I think he may have told the other about the surgery. Should be an interesting lunch in a lot of ways!

  21. Stall day 10...sigh

  22. Good morning BP gang!! I finally jumped over the 100 pound mark.....as of this morning I've lost 101 pounds....I was going to wait to post because I'm also just one pound away from reaching my goal.....but I thought what the heck I'll celebrate both! December 16th was 7 months post op for me....I have a follow-up with my surgeon tomorrow so today I'll look around for the lightest clothes I can wear to that appointment...hahahaha

  23. PMS + Stall= whining...just saying

  24. Reached my first 50lbs down today!!!

It does feel great! Within the next few days I will cross a zero that I have only crossed on the way up and that will feel more amazing than 50 lbs. lost.
