No stupid questions, I had scrambled eggs and I just mashed it with a fork. Most things can be mashed with a fork if you can tolerate it. During this stage I ate a lot of soup, protein drinks and jello.

6 weeks I was down 63 pounds.

I'm having the same issue. I have problems getting liquids in especially water. I've thrown it back up a few times.

I'm 4 weeks post op and my poor fiance, he has been grossed out on more than one occasion. I constantly apologize for the horrendous stench. Haha

Thank you for the info. I also have a problem with water tasting funny. I tried crystal light last night but I don't think my stomach liked it. I will try to look for the other items you mentioned.

They gave me an IV fluids and released me. They said my vitals are ok now. I just need to make sure I get enough liquids and I need to change my protein drinks to a water based one.

So today I came for my post op 2 week check up. I found out not only am I not getting enough protein (I'm having trouble with wanting to eat) but I'm also dehydrated. Remember everyone. Fluids, fluids, fluids. Has anyone else had this issue?

I got mine right after surgery as well.

Hi I'm 2 weeks post op Roux-En-Y and my stomach does it all the time. I'm like omg can anyone else hear that too? I think it's normal.

I had my surgery on the 8th of this month and I've lost 33 pounds. I'm very surprised by the loss but also am having issues with eating so that might be why. Also I had the Roux-En-Y.

I had my surgery on the 8th of this month. Didn't poop for 9 days. I even asked friends and family that had RNY how long it was before they could go. I was so relieved when it finally happened. I have issues with the premier shakes too, never hungry so I basically have to force myself to drink it in the morning then try to remember to keep drinking water all day. I've been eating creamy type, soups not from the can tried that blech. I think that might be helping with moving things along. The only thing I seem to crave is sugar free jello even that takes a while to get down. I tried a chocolate, sugar free pudding, it took me 2 days to eat the little container. I love chocolate too. So taste buds are definitely different. Good luck with everything.
