Hello! My sleeve surgery is scheduled 1/11/17. I am scheduling when to close on my existing home and move into our new home. I'm a single Mom of a 12 year old which leaves more of the responsibility to me. I'll hire movers and will have the help of friends and family, but will still need to unpack. I am 44, and haven't yet shared with my dad for the same reason. I understand! My doctor said the risks of these things being a possibility are less of a concern than what is our current daily risks from obesity. My surgery is scheduled for 1/11/17, so I haven't been yet, but through MUCH research I chose Dr. Fernando Garcia at Tijuana Bariatrics. He has done 8000+ sleeves, great reviews, and does the procedure in a hospital that is new, and has an accredited ICU just in case there is complications. $4490 includes transportation to and from airport, 3 nights at Tijuana Marriot (1 is night before surgery), 2 nights hospital, and a dietician we will always have access to. I have been super impressed with Lanelle, his patient coordinator. Answered a ton of questions, a sleeve patient herself losing 116, and made it easy to complete scheduling. Hope that helps! Anyone having surgery in Tijuana in January 2017? Mine is scheduled at Hospital CER on 01/11/2017 with Dr. Fernando Garcia. Nervous and excited! Anyone getting sleeved around that time frame? Any personal experiences with Dr. Garcia and/or CER? Any info is appreciated!
