Hi Debbie,

Congrads on your lap band. Thats cool that we were banded the same day. I am doing well, actually going back to work tomorrow for the first day. I am a ICU nurse. I feel good though, I think I could have went back a few days ago but gave myself the extra time. I have my 2 week post op appointment Thursday, anxious to see my progess, although I haven't been too hungry it been pretty easy to sick to the plan. I am on full liquids shake and puddding and stuff. I have sneaked a few bites of real food, didn't seem to bother me. I am adjusting well, I hope the same is going for you. It is a good idea to keep in touch we can help each other. So far I have lost about 17 lbs, yea I know that is pretty significant but I just don't have my appepite yet, not that I am complaining. How are you doing? I hope well. I don't have any cook books yet, although taking numerous classes in nutrition I really have a good idea what I have to do.
