If you are a week post sleeve surgery, you are probably cleared for puddings, jello, creamed soups, cottage cheese, ricotta cheese. I was sleeved on 3/31, 1 week today, and I do feel like I am hungry at times. I also dont feel much restriction yet. I can easily eat a 5.3 oz. greek yogurt without a problem. Last night I made Ricotta bake and ate about 5 bites and couldnt eat any more. I try switching it up, between shakes, broths, creamed soups, jello, popsicles, cottage cheese, anything for a change. That is probably just fluids from surgery. Many people see that they have gained close to 10 lbs. after surgery. Wait until about 2 weeks and that will be a better judgement on your wl. Sent from my SM-N920V using BariatricPal mobile app

Thats exactly what my surgeon said. He said he can move the liver out of his way without an issue and no need to torture ourselves with pre op diet. I got sleeved on 3/31, no gas pain whatsoever, only nausea for the 1st day. Feeling great today Sent from my SM-N920V using BariatricPal mobile app

Please be very careful. We are put on mainly liquid diet for a week or two because our stomach is full of staples, if you got a piece of peanut caught in your staple line it could open it up leading to major complications. You've come this far dont take a chamce like that. Id keep a close eye out for fever or any warmness on your belly, or redness. If you see any call your surgeon immediately! Yes, go on the website insurenutrition.com and click apply. It took about 2 weeks, but now I get 4 cases delivered monthly. They have to get approval from your doctor and then insurance has to approve it. My nut told me about it, and i applied back in january, so have been getting deliveries for 3 months. I just got sleeved Friday and have about 10 cases on reserve. My surgeon only required 1 day clear liquids so didnt use them too much yet. Its worth a shot, definitely saves a ton of money. I also was sleeved on Friday, and have had trouble getting fluids down. I have noticed that maybe my sips,are just too big. When I take sips barely wetting my mouth, it doesnt hurt as much. I was also sleeved yesterday and because I was unable to even keep water down, I have to stay amother night. Today has been a lot better though. They think it was the pain medicine making me sick, so we stopped that. I didnt have any gas pains, just feel like ive done a thousand crunches, lol. My surgeon prescribed a nausea pill, ask for one if theyre not giving you one.

Me too, I think Ive only gotten about 3 hours sleep. I've waited so long for this day to get here, cant believe in less than 5 hours I'll be in surgery. Good luck to you

Go on to pinterest and look for The world according to eggface. There are som any recipes to make different flavors. Recipes adding sugar free pudding powder to premier shales to make so many different flavors. My favorite is banana foster

Maybe he's just staying away because of the hormones and mood swings he knows you are going through. Its sad, but there are many people who like their mate big.
