  1. Yes, just stick with it. I am almost 3 months out, sleeved on 3/31 and have just barely lost 30 lbs. since beong sleeved. I also can eat about a cup of food without any issue. I am definitely a slower loser, but good thing is I havent gained. So as long as I keep losing, I'm okay with a slow loss. Stick with your plan and you will see results. Everyone is different, so its very hard to compare your journey to another. Just wanted you to know you're not alone. Also, it seems as if Im in stalls every couple weeks :(

  2. I am about 2 and a half monts post op and am only down about 30 lbs. I also stall constantly. On surgery date I was 227 on 3/31, today am 200.4, was as low as 198.4 a few days ago, but fluctuate constantly up and down by a pound or two. The one thing I lack is Water, have never been a big water drinker and still aint. Good luck on your journey!!! :)

  3. So idiot here got on the scale this morning because today is my 3 week post op anniversary. I gained 3 pounds and haven't lost any weight in about 2 weeks. I'm feeling really bad about myself and along with am wondering if I had a botched surgery. I'm past any and all advice at this point and am wondering why I am destined to be an overweight failure. There are no more excuses I can fathom at this point. I am tracking my intake and net at under 1000 calories every day. I'm moving more than the requirement. I'm hungry a lot (like right now) but after one screw up 2 weeks ago have been adhering to the meal list. I'm not sure if I can hold it together; just feel like a failure. Sorry to be a downer. I honestly don't expect any responses--just needed to vent. Thanks for reading.

I just wanted to say that you just may be a slower loserthan most. I also am a slower loser and at two and a half months out have just lost about 28 lb today I hit 198 on the scale this morning, so I am finally in Onderland. I am slow but I am losing and I have had multiple stalls along the way where I go up and down a pound or two for up to two weeks at a time it is frustrating, but I have just been sticking with it and steadily I have seen the pounds drop, slower than most, but they are still dropping. Also, do not compare yourself to somebody who is a higher weight than you as they will most likely lose a lot faster than you will. Good luck and stick with your plan you will see the pounds come off eventually.

  4. I lost about 6kg in the week after surgery and nothing since then. It's been one month since I had surgery.

Do not worry. I lost about 12 or 13 lbs in the 1st 9 days after surgery, then stayed the same (up and down a pound or two) for almost 3 weeks. I get required Protein in every day, not always enough Water though. Today, I am about 10 weeks out from surgery (sleeved on 3/31) and got on the scale this morning and was 199.8 [emoji4]

I am definitely a slower loser than most, but on surgery day was 227 so averaging about 2-3 lbs. a week. Depending on where you started and your exercise and meal plan is why so many people vary. Some surgeons give patients a couple weeks of liquids, I went home from the hospital on soft foods. Follow your plan and you will lose.

  5. I had vsg on 3/31 and on surgery day was 227 today I am at 202 [emoji20]

Sometimes I feel a little discouraged, but then remember everyone is different and everyones plan is different. My surgeons plan has us on soft foods within 2 day. liquids are only in the hospital, I left the hospital eating greek yogurt, cottage cheese and stuff like that. The one thing I am hoping for is that since weight loss is slower but steady, maybe I wont lose much hair, lol. Just follow your dr's plan and let your tool do it's work. Just think in 6 months if you lose steadily you will be down at least 50 lbs. Dont sweat the stalls either, I had an almost 3 week stall about 9 days after surgery, that was a little torture on the mind, but it also passed. Good Luck on your journey!! [emoji4]
