  1. Hi tall friends! I'm 5'10 - HW 310, SW 300, CW 269. I was sleeved 9/15 - ao glqd to see other tall people! What are you all setting as goal? I feel like the BMI charts are off the taller you get. Is it just me? Ha ha yes I'm thinking the same thing. Honestly I would be happy at 210 but would love to be 180 like I was in high school! 31 lbs in a month , that's fabulous!! Are you working out? Did you have an emotional attachment to food and was it hard for you to eat a lot less. I want this really bad but I over eat so much and I have that voice in my head and sometimes I can listen to her but sometimes I just emotionally eat! I struggle with that currently. I have the last two days drank a can of chicken broth and I rather enjoyed it. I've also been trying to take my time eating, I have recently realized I scarf food down like a t-rex and love to chug Water so I'm not so sure how great of a patient I will be but I do know I want a healthier me! How Is Everyone So Happy?

I know this post is pretty old but I am a 6 foot tall 329 lb woman and this is making me reconsider my surgery. I wonder now that is has been years since you have done this do you still regret doing it?
  3. I'm 6 feet tall and 328lbs. Your journey is one that is helping me make the decision for me to have my own journey. Thanks for sharing, your beautiful and yes the fact your 19 is wonderful because you have greater elasticity in your skin than someone like me(36). Enjoy your youth darling! 5. So I'm just curious how many people have actually went to Mexico and had their surgery? Its kinda scary to me but not as scary as my insurance telling me they will cover nothing if I have complications from this surgery. I have noticed there is insurance you can buy for any complications but it's only good for thirty days. Did anyone else have my concerns and went ahead with the surgery anyways in Mexico? What was the experience like? Anyone have Dr.Maytorena? Thanks Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

    So here I go....

I'm still researching it in Tijuana Mexico with Dr.Maytorena. I guess I'm scared! I wish you tons of luck. Hopefully I will make a decision in the next month or two for surgery in mid December. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
