My goal is to get my Protein in... That's hard enough. In addition, I like what I like. I do enjoy the sangria herbal tea. Once I'm able to hold a little more in my sleeve, I'll visit. Maybe it will be a 2017 treat!Oh yes in that case get your protein! ????. I'm 3 weeks post op but I'm able to chug Water at this point so it's a little easier for me to get extra fluids in.

I highly suggest this enchilada soup! Just be sure you strain it. Again this is when you're on your full liquids. It was a lifesaver for me. I'm clear tomorrow to go on to the soft stage.

Everyone's diet is different. My doctor allowed sugar free pudding during my liquid stage

Why no get a passion tea, no classic with splenda? There are plenty of sugar-free caffeine-free drinks that can be made there

My soft puree foods don't start till two weeks post op. I'm still in full liquids

Yes... anesthesiologist gave me one right before surgery. They haven't given me another one since then. But honestly I don't think it made much of a difference for me. My body just didn't take good to the anesthesia. ????

I'm sitting in the hospital bed right now while I type this up...I've had 2 C-Sections so I assumed this surgery was going to be easy for me. I was so wrong. I have a very high pain tolerance but I can't handle the nausea. My surgery was Monday and I was suppose to go home yesterday but since I wasn't holding anything down, dizzy and throwing up nothing but fluids they ended up keeping me another day. I took a gas-X dissolvable strip for a pain I had on my side last night (Not sure if it was gas pains) I immediately threw it up within 15 sec. This shit is no joke. Definitely not an easy way out. If anyone ever tells me that I'm gonna slap them.

Do any of you know if the Greek WHIP yogurt is ok 3 days out? The texture is what I'm referring to

Besides the Advanced Multi EA Chewables & Calcium Citrate Chewy Bites (500mg)...what else do I need to meet my vitamin requirements after surgery? Thanks in advance!

Hmmmm interesting! That schedule is crazy!! LOL. I was just planning to take the chewys during the day and multi vitamins at night since I also have to take thyroid meds in AM which can't be taken at the same time as the Multi vit. I think they have a B12 spray they offer. I'm gonna check that out. Just wanna have everything I need at home for the first few days after surgery.

Yup! I bought a smart watch just for this call! Hahaha! I'm pulling out my hair. They messed up a few times and had me waiting longer then I should have. Rescheduled my therapist appointment two weeks further than my original appt cause she was sick. ???? I started my classes a few weeks after you so that shows you how bad they stalled on me. How did you get your surgeon appointment so fast?!! Lol. I'm out of Fontana too. Had my final appointment on 10/12 and now I'm still waiting for a call to set up a surgeon appt. Ugh I swear this waiting process is a Bitch! from the looks of it if your surgery is scheduled for the end of Nov mine probably won't be till Dec. FML

Hi! No, I haven't started yet. My orientation is on November 1st. How about you? I'm pretty nervous! I don't know what to expect. I live in Bakersfield, CA.I live in La Verne so I attended the track of classes in Fontana. 12 weeks, once a week. We weighed in at the beginning of every class. You goal is to lose but it's very important that you don't gain. I lost 5lbs throughout the whole 12 weeks. I graduated in Aug 12th and have yet to have my surgery. I did everything that was expected out of me on time. Even had to get a sleep apnea machine. I had my final appointment with the doctor and the therapist last week. They signed me off to move onto to surgeon. They said it could take up to two weeks to get a call from them. I swear this has been the longest process ever! But I will say the classes are very informative. I enjoyed mine and learned a lot from them. If you have any other questions on the process let me know!

Have you started your classes yet? Which facility are you going to?

Here in Southern California with Kaiser they make you go through months of classes. Then after you "Graduate" from your 12 week course you have to wait another 2-3 months before you see the surgeon I started my first class back in May. I have yet to see the surgeon...long waiting process.
