  1. Have you tried Premier Protein? You can get it at Walmart, Sam's Club, costco, Amazon.. The only place I've found the banana cream is sam's club.. But the drinks are good.. Munky

    Last day on this

I just went back through every single post you've made and honestly I haven't really seen anything too bad.. The last one or 2 post was possibly borderline.. And you seemed a little bit over sensitive.. Emotions maybe? I know I can be that way.. And it's not uncommon pre or post surgery because of little to know carbs.. It can make you get roller coaster emotions.. Just take a deep breath.. Try to ignore what you don't like and continue appreciate all the help you did and will get Munky

    Anal Sex Concern

Thank you. I went to a support group meeting last week and a post op lady there said everything down there is different and used the word volitile. She told us it would be wise to have extra clothes handy at work and such! I didn't want to ask this in a live meeting with 35 people but it did come to mind. I didn't know if someone would say "I never had trouble before, but oh gosh now yeah, definitely use an enema after surgery before anal! This one time...." I'd rather be prepared with the right information than have an uncomfortable sitaution to deal with. I searched this forum and Google before asking. All I found was someone who asked about anal with sleeve which I didn't think was the same since they don't have the rerouting like RNY. Oh, and some links to "brunette anal RNY" porn which I didn't check out. Lol. I did find one person asking my same question on another WLS forum, but she got one reply which was that anal sex is never ok. I expected to maybe be poked fun of for asking but I didn't expect snark. Thanks for taking me seriously. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G890A using the BariatricPal App It hasn't for me in the past, but this is definitely what I was wondering about. Thanks for your reply. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G890A using the BariatricPal App That's probably cuz after by-pass if you eat sugar or too fat in foods you get "dumping" .. Other than that I don't see why it would affect having anal sex.. IJS Munky

    Noodles

I think your best bet is to go with a gluten free "noodle" and/or spaghetti squash.. Or make zoodles.. Part of this is learning new ways so we don't end up right back where we were.. Munky

Post op fatigue after 2 months

I'm no stranger to being fatigued, I have Fibro & Lymes disease.. Has your doctor(s) done any other kind of test.. Like what were the blood test looking for? Are you having any other symptoms? Foggy headed or achy? *shrugs* could be something totally unrelated to the wls.. G'luck! Munky

    drinking protein shakes after surgery..?

Just be cautious and follow your doctor's orders don't push it getting down more than you should you CAN stretch your stomach back out if you don't be careful... You're going to have some hair loss but from everything I've read on it it's temporary and your hair will be fine.. Make sure you got your chewable Vitamins and take them to make sure you're getting your nutrients.. G'luck with everything Sent from my SM-N910V using the BariatricPal App

    Break down

You're very lucky I'm not sure what you're eating is right now but I hope they let you know that eating high protein and low to no carbs can put you into ketosis which messes with you emotionally.. Just a little FYI in case you didn't know like I didn't the first time it happened to me Sent from my SM-N910V using the BariatricPal App

    Pre surgery

I think it just depends on diff things for diff people and how your surgeon does things compared to others plus all insurances are different as well.. My first meeting with the surgeon was way back in January and the first thing I had to do was be off cigz for 2 months before he'd even let me begin all the tests n stuff.. Then had some issues come up with some of those.. But my last appt me he told me he wanted me to do 4 weeks of the 2 week pre surg diet starting this past Monday, I see him the 20th,hopefully by then they will have gotten my approval and a date for my surgery Sent from my SM-N910V using the BariatricPal App
