What is wrong with literal overly sensitive assholes?
Long story short even though i recently got sleeved. My dietician was impressed with my recovery and all of the changes i've made thus far. So she asked me to come speak at two of her pre-op diet classes and answer questions for other newbies, give them tips and so on. Needless to say the class actually went REALLY WELL. I felt like i helped a lot of people through there fears and put them at ease. I posted a recap on another support group blog for those who missed the class and it was like crucified by overly sensitive literal IQ under 12 assholes. And i can't take it. I was only trying to help, which i did. WTF. It was like they were all judging me for sharing MY own experiences. I don't know what to do. We all have ups and downs but damn don't get mad at me for having a few ups, aren't we supposed to help each other out??? I was most frustrated because the comments were all from people who didn't attend the class so they have no clue about what i was actually sharing or what questions got asked. Meat sensitivity-is that normal?
So now i have a new question for everyone. Are there any foods that you used to love and you can eat them now, but you just don't want to? Has your appetite changed at all? Like for me, i can eat eggs with no problem and i used to like them but now i don't want to see or smell an egg for as long as i live lol. Has that happend to you guys too with other foods? Meat sensitivity-is that normal?
Oh i definitely will let it go. That won't be difficult. I just thought it was so strange because nothing has changed for me except the obvious no starches and small portions. I can even drink Water like i used to which i didn't expect. It's only been a week since my surgery. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

Meat sensitivity-is that normal?
I'm starting to eat foods again. chicken and tofu are fine. But i tried a thin slice of 97% fat free deli ham and it doesn't matter how i ate it, my stomach wasn't feeling it. But i've never had issues with pork before surgery. Is that normal, will that go away with time? So far besides that, everything else has been fine. I can even drink Water normally. Resources for Meal Planning / Prepping? Dealing with head hunger?
If you're into social media, look on instagram. They're are tons of food bloggers that post all kinds of recipes. Just modify them to your needs. So for example, if a recipe calls for chicken, sub that with fish or seafood. And limit your carb intake. There are also tons of recipe books on amazon for post wls diets. I hope that helps. Friends and family reaction your wls surgery
You owe your family nothing, it's none of their business. And if they give you crap, you need to ask yourself why you consider wasting your time with these toxic people. "When all is said and done, usually more has been said than done. " I haven't told my dad yet either due to fear of his opinions. But if you know for sure that you want the surgery, go for it! It will be a positive change for you in the end. Plus you can always let him know after the fact. But i would still tell someone like a close friend just so they are aware of what's going on, in case you do have complications. Best of luck to you though. I know how stressful this can be. I'm still in my pre-op phase as well. If you or anyone else would like to talk privately, feel free to send me a message. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

@@Malin i'm glad the thread is helping you, just like it's helping me! I tried Vitamins and shakes like herbalife. It didn't work for me. Some people were really successful with it, but i felt like i was starving myself, and they weight didn't really come off. I'm also a very short person so i can relate to you feeling like your weight is to much for your frame. That's exactly how i've been feeling. I will say so far i've found this support group to be by far the most helpful and encouraging so hopefully talking to others will put you at ease, since you aren't getting that from your mom. ***ps to everyone else...thank you all so much for sharing. It's so incredibly helpful. It's taking me forever to reply to everyone so i apologize, but i am reading everyone's post. We're all on this journey together.
