  1. Has anyone tried Tespo?? I'm dying to try it but i need to be convinced first lol. It's Vitamin dispenser that has bariatric multi Vitamins in a liquid form. It almost looks like a fancy coffee maker. But it basically creates a bariatric vitamin juice that you take daily. It's an option over chewable multi vitamins. 5. No my only regret was not doing it sooner. I haven't even been post op long enough to get anywhere near my goal weight yet, but i'm already seeing changes in myself mentally. That part i love most, losing weight is just icing on the cake. This is the best thing i've ever done for myself. The old me died....and thank god. I'm peeing on her grave lol. 6. @@kayleenasnewlife that's a good way to eat. You'll be able to maintain your goal weight that way. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  7. Up to you. That's a choice you have to make yourself. Pros to the sleeve: less risk, more common, no stomach re-routing, permanent. No dumping syndrome. Continuous weight loss even after 2 years. Gastric by pass pros: can be reversed if needed. Re-routes your intestines so you can experience dumping syndrome if you do not make dramatic diet changes. Weight loss is quick. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  8. Do atkins lift Protein Water and protein Jello if you hate shakes. Isopure is not as thick, it's more like juice if you prefer that. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  9. Happens to all of us. You'll be fine. Take tylenol, and get up and walk every single hour. You HAVE to walk the gas pain off. Make sure you're hydrated, do sugar free popsicles, broth or Protein Jello. All of those things will help. The pain goes away. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  10. That's normal. It happens to all of us. Make sure you get up and walk ever single hour. You have to get the gas pain to move downward so the pain goes away. It will go away within a few days. But whatever you do, don't stay in bed. Get your hydration in. You'll do great. The worst part is almost over for you. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  11. That's great congrats on starting your journey. That's normal. Their just basic insurance requirements that we all have to do. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  12. Baked tofu, tempeh and shellfish like shrimp. Those are my life now. Idk why, but it's just easier than meat for me these days. And i season it really well so it taste good with veggies. 13. Oh you're soo lucky. My doctor said liquids were mandatory. I did cheat a few days before because it was the holidays and i ate food, healthy food but still food. And i was fine after surgery. In your case, just trust what your doctor is saying. We did the liquid diet to get our liver to shrink and to speed up pre-op weight loss. It just makes it easier for the doctor to get to your stomach that's all. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

  16. @@mlbdl thank you! - in regards to your question...long story short i had to distance myself from friends that didn't understand what i was doing. Or friends that only needed me to be their "pig out" buddy. I also had a friend who i guess had her own insecurities and she had an issue with me losing weight. So i simply mean't if you have that in your life, stay away from it. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App @@Malin thank you!! 18. @@Lise2021 at the end of the day that is an EXCUSE. We aren't here to enable people we are here to help them reach their goal. Anyone that did the diet class would know fast food is unnecessary and loaded with calories and fat including that bunless burger. If you've been post op for awhile and it's a rare emergency then that's one thing. But why put the same crap back in your body that made you need surgery in the first place? We all used to do that and we were all able to make changes through support and education. If you read the post you would understand. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  19. @@OutsideMatchInside i agree with you because i accidentally took to big of a sip a week or so post op. It hurt but i was like screw it and kept doing it and i think that's the only reason why i'm able to drink Water almost normally now. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

  21. Ok guys so thank you for all of the responses, they were appreciated. I got the answers i was looking for. My biggest fear is being able to eat more food than i can now. I'm perfectly fine with eating tiny portions forever. I just used to go through way more Water before being sleeved so i wasn't sure if that would ever go back to normal. Or if i would have to eat slow for the rest of my life. @@OKCPirate @@Wendyfm @@ShelterDog64 thanks guys. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

  25. Do things ever fully return to normal after years of being post op? What i mean by that is are you able to drink Water like used to before surgery. ( i don't have to sip water anymore, but i'm definitely not going through as much water as i used prior to wls) Do you still go through issues with certain foods agreeing with you or food sensitivities? Do you still ever drink Protein shakes? Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
