  1. I had it a year and a half ago. I have no regrets what so ever. I genuinely feel bad for anyone that has had any complications. But many of us don’t. There’s really nothing to be nervous about. They knock you out, take out half your tummy and wake you back up lol. Everything else is on you and as long as your consistent and accountable, you’ll be just fine.

I have ocasional reflux but tbh i would rather deal with that then be fat forever. So i still wouldn’t change a thing.

    Good luck to you.

  2. Overall i eat really really well, but i definitely had some caramel m&m’s a few days ago because i was craving chocolate and it was amazeballs.

I’ll say this though so it’s clear. Live your life and don’t apologize or feel guilty about it. But at the same time cheats are for occasions, and they tend to work out better for people in the maintenance phase vs still losing phase. If you want to cheat do it, but own it and be accountable so you dont fall off the wagon. It’s easy to do. It’s your journey, have fun with it.

  3. Time for one of my honest opinions again...sorry.

That’s crap. For me personally i didn’t save anything. I think people in general over think the surgery. I still spend money on food, just half of it ends up in the trash. If i go out to eat, the same thing happens. If anything i spend way more now because i’m a clothes horse. My rule initially was never buy anything that you don’t love even if it’s on sale. But the problem is i love everything and now that everything comes in my size so of course i’m going to buy it, i easily spend a ridiculous amount on clothes per month.

Any updated pictures for us and any further chapters to. your story?

    @Frustr8 @Tealael

This isn’t super new but i still look the same.

As far as new updates to my story goes, i’m officially doing my first 10k this year. I’m training for that now in addition to weight lifting. I’ve never done anything athletic like that before.

  5. I’m kind of in the same boat as you. I’ve tried Keto and i do love that you get to eat bacon all day long but it’s not for me. My body doesn’t need all that extra fat and it also loves healthy variety so good carbs like Beans and squash and lots of fruits are fine with me.

i guess you could say i do the meditternean diet to an extent but i don’t like to view it as a diet. I eat what i want but i cook everything anf watch my portions, carbs and added sugars. I eat plenty of lean Protein, fruits, seafood, veggies, almonds, beans, and lower fat dairy like fair life milk and lots of cheeses. I use things like grass fed butter, olive or coconut oil, but in moderation. I even do some meatless days. I love it because it’s not restrictive so i never feel deprived. My body physically feels the best when i do this, i have more energy, no extreme cravings, and it’s something i can stick too. Plus i feel lighter all the way around. I do add supplements like fish oil pills, and mct oil pills but that’s about it other than a multi. Best of luck to you.

  6. Nooooo! Don't tell. You didn't tell them you were fat so don't tell them you're not.

I've had co workers analyze what im eating or not eating and ask me to many questions.

I've even had super supportive co workers get on my nerves with silly nicknames or tell me im getting to thin etc. let them mind their own business for your own peace of mind.

  7. Those have quite a few carbs as well, but maybe you count net carbs? Anyway the OP is on liquids and puréed foods do not quite there yet—

Oh no to clarify i know it has carbs- i just don't care because the only time i eat them is when i put it in halo top ice cream as a rare treat. ( to me it just taste better than all the other ones i've tried) I don't eat Protein bars regularly, most of them taste awful to me, but whatever works for anyone else works too.

  8. Not quite a year and a half out.
I was sleeved and i only do 3 meals per day ( maybe one snack if i've been working out like crazy) and each meal is only 3-4 oz. only because snacking is what made me fat in the first place.

    Very very low carb, still.

Typical breakfast is kind of boring just because i never used to eat breakfast ever. So i stick to only a few options and rotate, plus i'm lazy.

    - breakfast parfait (0% fat greek yogurt, added 1 scoop of GNC vanilla whey, top with berries of my choice.
    - green smoothie
-whey Protein with caramel flavored coffee
    - protein shake
    -crustless quiche
    - eggs and avocados or eggs and 1 piece of bacon

Lunches and dinners i meal prep and because i cook everything that's where i tend to get more creative. I'll make whatever as long as it's low carb. Pinterest has tons of great ideas. I meal prep ahead of time to save me time.

    Snacks: (if ever)
    - parmesean crips
    - protein chips
    -sugar free Jello pudding
    - smoked almonds or sweet thai chili and dried cranberries
-jerky or duke's smoked shorty sasuages
    - deli meat and cheese
    - spicy pork rinds
    - halo top ice cream
    - greek yogurt
    - hummus
    - guacamole
    -cranberry almond chicken salad (costco)

Even though i can eyeball stuff- i still measure and pre portion. I don't ever want to get in the habit of eating slider foods or over eating when im not actually hungry.
