    Tespo dispenser

They just came out with a membership for $5 so you don't have to splurge on the dispenser. And if you cancel, just return the dispenser to them. How do the Vitamins taste? Because that was always my fear with liquid vitamins. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  5. If you don't like preimer then don't drink it lol. There's Bariatric Advantage, unjury, Protein milkshake bar, isopure, Syntrax, even GNC lean 25 are ok. Just find one that you do like the taste of that's under 200 calories and less than 5g of sugar. It should have at least 20g of protein. Because once you are post op it will be a struggle to get down more than two shakes. So the more protein in one, the better. Also, try ready to drink varieties and see how you like it because your taste will change after surgery. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

    Does anyone regret their surgery?

No my only regret was not doing it sooner. I haven't even been post op long enough to get anywhere near my goal weight yet, but i'm already seeing changes in myself mentally. That part i love most, losing weight is just icing on the cake. This is the best thing i've ever done for myself. The old me died....and thank god. I'm peeing on her grave lol. 10. @@kayleenasnewlife that's a good way to eat. You'll be able to maintain your goal weight that way. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  11. Up to you. That's a choice you have to make yourself. Pros to the sleeve: less risk, more common, no stomach re-routing, permanent. No dumping syndrome. Continuous weight loss even after 2 years. Gastric by pass pros: can be reversed if needed. Re-routes your intestines so you can experience dumping syndrome if you do not make dramatic diet changes. Weight loss is quick. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

    Unflavored Protein

Do atkins lift Protein Water and protein Jello if you hate shakes. Isopure is not as thick, it's more like juice if you prefer that. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

    Pain! Please help!

Happens to all of us. You'll be fine. Take tylenol, and get up and walk every single hour. You HAVE to walk the gas pain off. Make sure you're hydrated, do sugar free popsicles, broth or Protein Jello. All of those things will help. The pain goes away. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

    2days post op

That's normal. It happens to all of us. Make sure you get up and walk ever single hour. You have to get the gas pain to move downward so the pain goes away. It will go away within a few days. But whatever you do, don't stay in bed. Get your hydration in. You'll do great. The worst part is almost over for you. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

    Pre-op diet

Oh you're soo lucky. My doctor said liquids were mandatory. I did cheat a few days before because it was the holidays and i ate food, healthy food but still food. And i was fine after surgery. In your case, just trust what your doctor is saying. We did the liquid diet to get our liver to shrink and to speed up pre-op weight loss. It just makes it easier for the doctor to get to your stomach that's all. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

@@mlbdl thank you! - in regards to your question...long story short i had to distance myself from friends that didn't understand what i was doing. Or friends that only needed me to be their "pig out" buddy. I also had a friend who i guess had her own insecurities and she had an issue with me losing weight. 22. Why!?!? Why do that to yourself? I just fon't understand it. Shit, there are days when i drive past checkers and wish i had fries. But i don't need it. What i really don't understand is why make the post in the first place if you know most people aren't going to give you the supportive answers you're looking for? What's the point of even being in a support group then if you're doing all that? We all want to see everyone succeed but that's not the way to go about it. Posting about fast food and unhealthy junk

@@Lise2021 at the end of the day that is an EXCUSE. We aren't here to enable people we are here to help them reach their goal. Anyone that did the diet class would know fast food is unnecessary and loaded with calories and fat including that bunless burger. If you've been post op for awhile and it's a rare emergency then that's one thing. But why put the same crap back in your body that made you need surgery in the first place? We all used to do that and we were all able to make changes through support and education. If you read the post you would understand. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
