    Stalls

Yea I hit my first stall at 2 weeks and it lasted 3 weeks. The scale just started moving again SLOWLY! someone suggested u measure because losing inches isn't always synonymous with losing weight.. and they were right ???? stick to your plan! Sent from my SM-N920V using the BariatricPal App

    Preop diet

I was so scared to fail! Honestly I just took it one day at a time..once I got the withdrawal headache I knew I was almost over the hump. I was on a liquid diet for my birthday and I just kept reminding myself that I was trading in 1 lousy birthday for a bunch of great ones. It will be over before u know it! Once u start to lose weight it will be easier to focus....YOU CAN DO THIS! Sent from my SM-N920V using the BariatricPal App

    Going nuts

My nutritionist said exess protein will get stored as fat so I'm trying to figure out how to up the calories without adding too much protein ...trial and error I guess! Sent from my SM-N920V using the BariatricPal App

    Going nuts

I did an apparently eating clean gets u to your protein goal but not your caloric one. I was getting 80 g of protein at or about 700 calories..she wants me at 1200. I have decided to throw in a few extra items in my meal I just don't want to sacrifice protein for calories Sent from my SM-N920V using the BariatricPal App
  7. Ok...so I have been trying to remain calm and stick to my plan, and I have. I have lost 18 lbs and I'm 6 weeks post op. I speak to my dr at my 6 wk follow up and apparently even though I'm hitting my Protein and Water goals...I'm not eating enough ...r u kidding. It seems like all I do is eat...so frustrating!! Excited and terrified

That's relieving to hear. I've had a c-section and I recovered quite well. I get sleeved on Dec. 5 and I'm nervous about the recovery. I will have to jump right back in to my routine. I have a 5 year old and a 1 year old. Sent from my SM-G930V using the BariatricPal App I have an 8 and a 2 year old so I feel ya. I recovered from my c-section quickly and this wasn't worse. Stomachache?

Warm liquids were easier for me day 1 and 2 but it's normal for it to feel that way. Walk as much as u can and do your breathing exercises. By day 3 I was fine and I never used my pain meds. You are going to do great???? congrats and we will see you on the losers bench VERY soon! Sent from my SM-N920V using the BariatricPal App

    Excited and terrified

I'm 4 weeks post and honestly it hurt more to have a c-section lol. I was nauseous from the anesthesia but by day 3 I was fine. It feels like the surgery was a lifetime ago. Relax and enjoy the ride....and the versed lol. Good luck and u will be fine...feel free to ask anything u think may help ease your mind! Sent from my SM-N920V using the BariatricPal App

    5weeks out

I will be 5 weeks out on Friday. I was allowed to eat pureed foods post op wk1 and soft foods week 2 & 3. I hit a stall on wk1..and now I'm stalled again...it's a bit discouraging considering people lose what I did in a wk vs my month????. I'm eating clean and supplementing with 1 shake a day to make goal. Usually along the lines of grilled chicken and steamed veggies. I can get about 2 oz of Protein and 1.5 oz per meal. Best of luck on your journey! Sent from my SM-N920V using the BariatricPal App
  14. Nausea was the worst symptoms for me from the anesthesia...I had watched so many videos and built it up so much that I just anticipated the worst and hoped for the best. No one's journey will be identical to yours. Educate yourself and enjoy the ride ???? Sent from my SM-N920V using the BariatricPal App
  15. Hey everyone! Today starts my pureed stage and I started with some egg salad. It went down fine but I'm not sure what feels full at this point so I took some baby spoons in and closed up shop till I see how it goes. I did notice I hiccuped and have read that could be a soft sign that I'm done. Will full feel the same as it used to or should I just heed the hiccup warning lol? I'm supposed to do 1 1/2 oz of Protein and 1 oz of fruit of vegetable for my first meal but I don't want to push it....any advice? Sent from my SM-N920V using the BariatricPal App
