  1. Hey there! So, I got my sleeve done on October 3rd. My program had me doing two weeks liquid diet pre-op and post-op. So four weeks of liquids. I just got to start my next stage this week (puréed). Since starting puréed foods, the scale has hit a stall and even went back up a pound. I've been weighing myself every day so I'm trying not to take the numbers seriously until my actual weigh in date this coming Monday but I was curious if anyone experienced this. Thanks in advance all! Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  2. The program coordinator at the center I went through had the sleeve 2 years ago and said she uses a straw and the doctor knows about it and is fine with it. She said that the only thing to watch for is discomfort from excess air. Everyone is different though. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

  4. I was sleeved on 10/3. All is well except for tolerating the liquid diet as well. I'm so ready for my next stage. I hate my Protein shakes and I'm starting to hate my strained soups. In my program the next stage is Puréed and it can't come fast enough. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  5. I understand where you are coming from but try to stifle those feelings of being annoyed. He just worries and wants to do anything he can to help. That's how my husband is anyway. Also, men don't have a lot of gears so I'm sure for him it's all or nothing and in this case the "all" is much better for your recovery. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  6. I took my Hycet about once a day for 5 days. BM was 2 days post-op. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
