  1. Need help getting back on track as well. I started out awesome and I've only list 72 pounds in 9 months. I was going to the gym at least 3 times a week. One of my problems is that I commute to and from work over 140 miles a day. So it's so easy to make excuses on why I can't get to the gym. But one of the things I've noticed is that I'm ratting more than 4oz at a time. How do I reset my pouch. I've done so well that I need to think of me again. Any suggestions would be awesome.

  2. So I'm so confused at times if I'm doing the right things. I work with a couple of people who have had the same surgery so of course were always comparing. I'm the newbie of the group so I'm always asking questions. I'm 0 weeks post op and have list 45 pounds. One of the things I'm always questioning is the amount of food I'm consuming throughout the day. For the most part I try to weigh everything but there are times I can't. But I seem to always seem to want to eat about every 3 hours is that normal. I don't eat a lot but I'm always snacking on something primarily cheese. That's the other thing I have crazy cravings for coffee, cheese and sea food like shrimp or crab. Anyone else have crazy cravings since surgery

  3. I'm 8 weeks post-op it gets a bit easier. I was pretty depressed my first week, I was thinking what the heck have I done. And I cried over everything. But it will pass and as you start feeling better everything will to. And yes my first bite of mashed potatoes tasted soooo good. Today I actually get to start with solids do happy. But I did find that I still went to the soft foods. Best of luck

  4. I'm at 2 months and also have stalled for approximately 2 weeks. Everyone has told me that it's normal. So whT I finally had to do for myself is stop the weighing everyday because I am obsessive with that. But also just had to tell myself that as long as I'm doing everything right it will come. Also I noticed I'm losing inches rather than pounds. Good luck

  5. I thank you all for the advice. Please know it's not that I'm wanting a miracle I know that's not the case. But Ijust wanted advice as to if this was normal. I work with 2 other ladies who have also had the surgery and know that everyone is different as well. But since this is new for me I just didn't know if it was the norm. And partly because I know the doctor expects to see some weight loss when I go back in two weeks. I have lost 14 pounds in 6 weeks so again wasn't sure if that was the norm. I appreciate Lloyd the comments

  6. I had my surgery almost 3 months ago now and so far I have lost a total of 47 lbs since the actual surgery date. I feel like I haven't lost enough or that I'm doing well. I feel ok and at first I was losing weight consistently but now I've been stuck at 189 for the past 2 weeks. I admit I haven't been able to get as much exercise as I should being that I leave my house at 530am and don't get back home until 730pm sometimes later. Everyone compliments me and says that I look good and can tell I have list weight. Any ideas.

  7. So I'm on soft foods for another 2 more weeks. However, I have been trying some other foods such as spaghetti squash, salmon, tuna etc. And I've been good. But for the most part I drink Protein shakes, eat Jello, Soup, cottage cheese, yogurt etc. The problem though is I don't feel satisfied and find myself getting hungry within 2 hours is that normal.

Also, I've been getting this strange sharp pain in my upper chest that just hits hard and goes away. The funny thing is that when I feel this pain it seems to hurt straight down to my groin area. I know right? Maybe it's all in my head.

  8. So I'm 7 weeks post surgery and was wondering if it would be ok to have a small salad or not. Not sure how that would work but so far I have tried little things here and there and so far so good. I have lost a total of 40 pounds. My only concern that I'm having is that I tend to have this little bit of pain coming down from my belly button area but only when I go to sit down is this normal.
