I'm 5 days post op. I sip all day. Tiny sips. It's getting quite annoying too. I manage to get my 64 oz of Water in but I'm not sleeping well either. So when I'm waking up or having a hard time falling back to sleep I'm sipping and sometimes pacing. You will get there. I figured as long as I am doing the best I can then that has to be good enough. Now that I've started Protein shakes it's getting harder to stay at the 64 oz mark. It takes me more than an hour to get a Protein shake down. So I'm going to have to be more diligent about my water. I have lost 32lbs including my pre-op. But I have lost more inches than pounds I feel because I have been walking average of 4.5 miles everyday. I was denied originally by Medicaid too. My surgeon did a peer to peer with Medicaid and it was overturned. See if your surgeon can do a peer to peer. If not you are still able to appeal the denial. Sent from my Y538 using the BariatricPal App

I'm home from the hospital. Walking feels so great. I could walk all day. My abdomen is still very bloated. Lots of pressure and a little pain, but nothing unbearable. Mostly gas pain and pain where my incisions are. I'm getting in my liquids just fine. I'm able to start Protein on Saturday. I've been using has x strips to help with the bloated feeling.
