  16. I had gone to a friend's get together and I made the cake (do custom cakes as a hobby) it was a boob cake for our friend who is in Stage 4 of cancer.Everyone brought everything to dine on and all of my faves but I unbelievably just drank my Water and my Boost Diabetic...not even a bite of anything. I just kept telling myself that if I don't follow liquid diet to a tee than maybe liver won't shrink enough and I would be turned down for surgery. Didn't want to chance that and day of my surgery (09/28) and was weighed, I was already down 20 lbs. Hang in there and don't give a rat's ass as to what others may say. Leave negative persons behind. Much luck manitobamama
  17. Dreaded two week diet lolI had a VSG revision to RNY on 09/28. I was scared and nervous but was so happy that the 2 week pre op diet was done just to realize it's more like a 3 week liquid diet as you forget the week after surgery. I can be your buddy if needed. My middle daughter is currently teaching at Darby College until July. My dad was born in Horsham England but came to Canada, where we reside, when he was 6 manitobamama

  23. So I am a week out of surgery. First couple of days it felt like I did 10 000 sit ups. Today it feels like only doing 500. Got my walking down, sipping my liquids but need to sip a lot more to meet my goal. I know it doesn't happen overnight. I start each day with a Boost Diabetic Protein drink. Nice to see there is an app for this. Hope I get to know others here. Cheers manitobamama
