    Setbacks

My revision from lapband to gastric bypass on October 11 has come with complications. I went home last Friday at 1, spiked a fever of 102 and was back in the hospital ER at 7pm...it was diagnosed as a pneumonia, and a partially collapsed lung..not to mention I still have surgical pain. I'm still here in the hospital and its Wednesday. I know I'm getting better and stronger everyday, but it's hard being away from my girls even though they come to see me almost everyday. Have any of you had setbacks from surgery that you're still trying to overcome?

    Surgeon's in kentucky

Dr. Benjamin Tanner, Norton Bariatric Weight management center. He is an excellent surgeon. My lap band revision to bypass is scheduled for October 11. He is a very upfront, yet compassionate and understanding surgeon. My whole process working with the center has been very positive. I hope this helps. Steph
