    It is completely normal to be nervous. I had my surgery on 10/5/16, and I was a complete bundle of nerves. But once you have surgery it's a whole new world. This is the first step of a brand new journey. Congratulations on your decision to become healthy.

I was happy to find a safe place to discuss with and question others who have been through the same experiences. So to the experienced members of this group, please take a minute to remember how scared, confused, and full of questions you may have felt directly after surgery. And maybe offer advice with kindness instead of sarcasm. One day we will be the experienced ones, but right now what we need most of all is kindness and support.     I was sleeved 10/5 and other than some pain with one incision, things have been going great. I am down 12 pounds, and preparing to return to work Monday 10/17. Once I return to solid foods, what can i expect as far as weight loss per week? My starting weight was 337, day of surgery weight 314 and current weight 302. The future looks bright!     My surgery was yesterday morning, and i am so excted for my future! Overall recovery hasn't been terrible. One of my incisions is very sore. The other incisions dont bother me at all.
