Good morning, don't freak out. I also had to be on a 6 month schedule with my surgeon's office too required by my insurance Co. By the time I finished and saw my dr to get my surgery date and had to take a test to answer questions but it was just to make sure what I need to know prior and after my surgery. Then took blood test, met with my anesthesiologist and set your my clearance with my primary. The same day I started my liquid diet my nurse called me that my surgery was denied. I was so upset, my bmi and weight was not enough. The nurse said don't worry it's medical necessary so the Dr will appeal it. Do u have any health issues that your insurance shouldn't denie it?
